PROCEDURE

REF. FIG. 055111-DVI-00100

IN CASE OF EXCESSIVE TURBULENCE, MANEUVERING

OR EXCEEDING VMO/MMO, THE AIRCRAFT CAN
EXPERIENCE HIGH VALUES OF LOAD FACTOR AND
EXCEED THE LIMIT LOAD.
IF THIS IS THE CASE, VISUAL INSPECTIONS FOR
STRUCTURAL DAMAGE MIGHT BE REQUIRED BEFORE
RETURNING THE AIRCRAFT INTO SERVICE.

THE FLOW DIAGRAM SHOWS THE PROCEDURE

TO FOLLOW TO DETERMINE WHETHER INSPECTIONS MUST
BE CARRIED OUT IN CASE OF ONE OF THESE EVENTS
(OR A COMBINATION OF THEM) OCCURS.

NOTE 1: THESE EVENTS MAY BE REPORTED BY THE

FLIGHT CREW AND CONFIRMED BY THE
G-METER REPORT. CONTACT ATR IN CASE OF
FREQUENT OCCURRENCE OF VMO/MMO
EXCEEDANCE.

NOTE 2: IN CASE OF EXCEEDING VMO/MMO WHILE

SEVERE LATERAL TURBULENCE IS
EXPERIENCED AND/OR LATERAL MANEUVERING
IS PERFORMED, CONTACT ATR EVEN THE
VMO/MMO IS WITHIN THE TOLERANCE RANGE
SHOWN IN THE FLOW DIAGRAM.
