We're excited to share the results of the Australian Government's Microsoft 365 Copilot trial that ran January-June this year. The trial by the Australian Public Service (APS) involved 7,600 users across more than 60 agencies and was one of the first deployments of Copilot within the public sector globally. Key Highlights: ✅ 86% of trial participants wished to continue to use Copilot (including 92% of senior executives) ✅ 77% were optimistic about Copilot ✅ Participants saved up to an hour a day, using this time for higher-value activities like mentoring, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. The trial also emphasised the importance of tailored training and change management to maximise the benefits of generative AI, with 75% of participants who received three or more forms of training feeling the most confident in using Copilot. The trial paves the way for Australia's technology sector to engage with local providers, partners, and other major tech players to fully realise the potential of generative AI.
