On the 𝘔𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳 podcast with Neil Selwyn, I unpacked why assessments often fall short and how we can address these systemic issues. We explored: 🔍 What assessment is supposed to achieve—and how we can get there. 🛠️ Why buzzwords like "𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁" and "𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴" might be leading us astray. 💡 How to reimagine feedback so students can truly use it to grow and succeed. 🎧 Link to episode in comments

Love this : ‘How to reimagine feedback so students can truly use it to grow and succeed.’ There are possibilities as we inch towards a collaborative interactive paradigm shift . We reimagine student agency allowing them to ask for more, as well as discuss future actions as a result of feedback . We reimagine teacher agency to reflect and pull back on their unidirectional feedback where there is a lack of student response .
