Moshe lives in Netanya, Israel and started working for Lawyal five years ago. ✅ Can you describe an exciting moment you had in your job? One of the most exciting moments was launching a major system update that greatly improved performance and user experience. The immediate positive feedback from users was incredibly rewarding. ✅ What do you particularly like about your job? I love solving problems daily and creating efficient, scalable solutions. Collaborating with a talented team and learning from each other is also very rewarding. ✅ What significant skills have you gained from your past roles? I've gained experience in database management, API development, and server-side programming. I've honed skills in problem-solving, debugging, and code optimization, and learned the importance of communication and teamwork. ✅ What appealed to you about this position and led you to join the team? I was drawn to Lawyal for its innovative approach to legal technology and impactful projects. The company's culture of continuous learning and growth aligns with my values.

Take a look at this picture. It was taken today at our Salesforce offices in Tel-Aviv. It shows a few dozens of Salesforce Israel employees in one of our regular all-hands meetings. What's so special about that? Well, that picture was taken exactly 36 hours after Iran launched a massive aerial strike against Israel with 100s of UCAVs, ballistic and cruise missiles carrying about 60 tons(!) of explosives. Thanks to the Israeli Air force, the air forces of the US, UK, France, Jordan and others *and* Israeli innovation and engineering talent who developed the most advanced multi-layered air defense systems in the world - luckily that attack ended up with relatively low impact. It was a sleepless night for all us in Israel who got an advanced notice of the attack and basically spent that night bracing for impact. Now take another look at this picture. 36 hours later - People showing up at the office, talking to each other, having a few laughs, having meetings, discussing deadlines, solving business problems, discussing engineering problems, doing demos, having coffee and lunch together, having an all-hands meeting together. 36 hours ago we were bracing for impact of 60 tons of explosives that were about to fall out of the sky. An American Fund Raised $160 Million to Invest in Israeli Startups Flint Capital, a Boston-based firm, closed a VC fund totalling $160 million. The raised fund will help early-stage Israeli and European startups in cybersecurity, fintech, digital health, enterprise SaaS, and B2C entering the American market. The new fund will invest in 25 companies with Israeli founders, Israeli pre-seed VC funds, and European startups. Flint Capital has three unicorns in its portfolio, one of them is the Israeli one - WalkMe. It has also invested in Israeli companies CyberX (acquired by Microsoft) and Voca.ai (acquired by Snap). “Israeli entrepreneurs are some of the most resilient people in the world. Now more than ever, Flint Capital is committed to investing in the next generation of Israeli founders. Despite the war-induced economic strain, Israeli high-tech is proving unstoppable. 🚀 Major funding rounds are back, and as Rona Segev, Co-Founder & Managing Partner at TLV Partners, shares: “It’s a clear trend shift compared to Q2 this year, with many rounds yet to be announced. Since the beginning of the year, we’ve had 12 Series A and B rounds—something we didn’t see in 2023. I’m unsure we’ll reach the 2021 highs, but optimism is certainly justified.” The resilience and momentum in Israel’s tech scene are undeniable.
