Last week SAP and BigID had the opportunity to meet in Toronto and host an #AI event. The opportunity to hear directly from customers and practitioners on the challenges and key focus areas was invaluable. Thank you to SAP for being such gracious hosts by offering their beautiful office and providing breakfast. We were joined by customers such as Toyota Canada Inc., Sun Life, Hydro One covering topics on latest AI market trends and concerns and how to address those concerns. Learning about the use cases and challenges directly from customers was invaluable and look forward driving value on these use cases. Some key thoughts from the session: - SAP and BigID are better together to knowing your data and driving AI use cases - IT is critical to bridge the gap between IT and the Business - There is a need to differentiate and educate Machine Learning (#ML), Artificial Intelligence (#AI) and Generative AI (#GenAI) - Ensuring data is ready to execute the use cases - Data lifecycle management and labeling data are key to reducing risk in AI and GenAI use cases - Understanding the value of data fabrics vs. consolidation of data Peter Palmer Chris Frizzell Fouad Fahim John Scrivener Interested in learning more?
