Today, at the Labour Party Conference, Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced significant changes to the apprenticeship system. These include shorter apprenticeship programmes and restrictions on employer levy spending for Level 7 apprenticeships. Additionally, he introduced plans for new, foundation apprenticeships for those not ready for Level 2 or 3.
