Yesterday, we had the BEST time celebrating another incredible year! 🎉 Our Umbrella Christmas Day was filled with laughter, reflection, and good cheer. We started the day with a team meeting, reminiscing about our accomplishments and setting our sights on even greater heights in 2025. Next, we honoured our amazing team members at the Purple People Awards. And of course, no Christmas party is complete without a bit of Secret Santa fun! 🎁 We wrapped the day up with a delicious meal and festive drinks at the beautiful Pump Room at Copper Rivet Distillery. 🥂 A huge thank you to each and every one of you for making this year so special. Big news! We've partnered with The Felix Project.💜💚 Last Friday, we hosted an onboarding session with The Felix Project, a London-based food redistribution charity making a real impact. Their vision? A London where no one goes hungry, and good food is never wasted. By rescuing surplus food from the industry and delivering it to 600+ charities, schools, and organisations, The Felix Project is tackling food waste and hunger simultaneously. We’re thrilled to have onboarded four Level 2 Commis Chef apprentices who are ready to learn the skills of the trade whilst contributing to this incredible mission. We can’t wait to see how our new apprentices grow and make an impact in their careers and industry. This week, Umbrella Training Ltd celebrates being 12! I started Umbrella to make a difference to the quality of apprenticeships and their reputation within the Hospitality sector. When reflecting back I am humbled by our journey and stand proud of our achievements made so far and optimistic for many more years to come. I thank the brilliant people I have met along the way and the many who have become close friends (my tribe) and allies of Umbrella (You know who you all are!).
