We had an absolutely magical time at the Clarkson Evans Children's Christmas Party last weekend! More than 160 children came along to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of festive entertainment. From entertainer Marky Jay keeping everyone laughing and dancing, to the stunning face painting and balloon creations, the day was filled with fun and joy. The kids were thrilled to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and receive their presents, and there was so much more festive cheer to be had! Huge thanks to everyone who came along and made this event so special — memories like these will last a lifetime! Exciting News from Clarkson Evans! This week, we are thrilled to welcome 11 new apprentices to our growing team of over 300 apprentices across the company! As part of their induction at our HQ in Gloucester today, these new team members had the chance to explore our state-of-the-art apprentice training facilities and get a first-hand look at the fantastic opportunities that lie ahead. We train all our apprentices in-house at our centres in Gloucester, Bracknell, Milton Keynes, Exeter, and Birmingham, incorporating the latest tools, technology and resources, and allowing apprentices to train with equipment that mirrors the real-world environment they work in on site. We’re proud to continue investing in the future of the electrical industry and providing hands-on learning experiences for the next generation of talent. What an unforgettable day we had at the races! The ‘November Saturday’ saw over 350 of our Clarkson Evans team from around the country descend on Cheltenham Racecourse for a well-deserved early Christmas celebration. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to see some new and familiar faces and let our hair down after a very busy few months. We had a brilliant day out and it was a great chance for us to be able to say thank you for everyone’s hard work over the last year. With the Government having set a target to build 1.5 million homes in the next five years, we’re proud to play our part as the leading electrical and solar PV subcontractor in the sector. In the last month alone, we’ve wired 1,580 new homes and installed solar panels for 1,160 properties. We’re planning ahead for a busy 2025 and beyond and investing in developing the future workforce the industry needs, having hired 143 new apprentices in 2024. We’re excited to play an important role in responding to the housing shortage and will continue to work alongside developers to create homes that are not only modern and energy-efficient, but also built to last. #construction #electrical #solar #clarksonevans

Today, our new apprentices had the chance to visit our HQ vehicle workshop facilities to learn the basics of regular vehicle maintenance and take a behind-the-scenes look at how our team works hard to ensure every one of our 464 vehicles stay in top condition!
