      I lead the Marketing Team for Commercial Services at Action for Children which covers a portfolio of products and services. This includes large national childcare brands Spring Nurseries and Spring Oscars, retail project 1869 and other developing commercial products and publications. I work within the Leadership Team and write the sales and marketing strategy and plans for all of our products and services, whilst working directly with the Head of Commercial to write the 5 year business plan. <br><br>Working at a strategic level, I monitor and evaluate the marketing plan against set KPI's and how they were applied each quarter, providing detailed reports and analysis. This includes in-depth monitoring and analysis of marketing campaigns and sales conversion to meet financial targets. A large part of my role includes research and market intelligence, identifying business development opportunities and risk areas. <br><br>I use leadership skills to oversee and develop the marketing team, keeping them motivated and on track to achieve objectives within each quarter. I oversee all marketing activity for our commercial services which involves providing professional marketing training to a team of over 60 people to encourage and support them in finding and converting sales leads and growing the brands.

      One of my core responsibilities was the social media marketing for the brand to meet the growth goal. This included keeping the social media updated and consistent, maintaining the branding, company information and imagery to develop engaging and shareable content. It was also within this responsibility to create in-depth reports based on the analytical data whilst planning for future improvements. Within my social media responsibility I also developed and planned any paid ad campaigns within budget.

      I regularly wrote copy for website blogs and editorial for business magazines such as Business Direction to generate brand awareness and to grow our audience, thus generating leads. I regularly used Wordpress to update the website and upload blogs and web content such as downloadable documents and event details.

      I attended networking events and business exhibitions with the sales team in which it was my responsibility to support the stand setup and marketing material distribution. Attending the events helped me to gain lots of experience in networking with prospects and developing leads which I then followed up on.
