🛍 TikTok Shop is doing WAY too much. And it could be detrimental to the app's future... What used to be an endless scroll of creative, fun, and authentic videos is now littered with promotions. It’s like every other post is an ad pushing products with the same tired lines: ⚡"I can’t believe this VIRAL BAG is cheaper than coffee!" ⚡"Girls, grab this VIRAL dress everyone’s obsessed with before it's gone!" ⚡"This VIRAL blowout brush gave me crazy volume for under £10!" The shift is making users rethink why they’re on the app in the first place. TikTok thrived by keeping our attention with fast, original content. But now, with constant shop ads, it’s starting to feel more like a never-ending QVC episode. If TikTok doesn't dial it back, they might lose the magic that set them apart: fast-paced creativity, authenticity, and real connections. TikTok is Implementing this Policy from 30th April! ~ What do you need to prepare for? 1. Change your pricing to cover your shipping cost. 2. Add paid shipping like Express and Standard shipping. 3. Deactivate Flash Sales, you can't edit pricing in ongoing promotions. 4. A quick change in price can decrease your sales so slowly start increasing your prices. You might have to bear some loss or even breakeven. 5. Participate in TikTok funded coupons. This policy doesn't mean that tiktok will start covering the shipping cost. Tiktok is now giving flat free economy shipping to its customer after 30 April. Seller will bear the shipping fee from onwards. #tiktokshop
