  • Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion Excellence at the City of Melville!   We are incredibly proud to share that the City of Melville has been named on Diversity Council Australia Ltd (DCA)'s prestigious Inclusive Employers List for 2024-2025. 🏆   The DCA’s Inclusive Employer Index is an evidence-based process that helps benchmark inclusion efforts against national standards. To make the list, organisations must exceed national benchmarks in five out of six key areas, and we’re thrilled to meet this standard of excellence!   This acknowledgment highlights that workplace inclusion is more than just a value; it drives real, measurable benefits such as increased performance, innovation, and wellbeing. This is award recognises our commitment to fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported.   Through our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Plan – We Belong, we have implemented initiatives such as: ✅ Annual events calendar celebrating diversity and inclusion (e.g., International Women’s Day, NAIDOC Week, Harmony Day) ✅ Aspiring Women Leaders Program ✅ Contemporary e-learning for diversity and inclusion   A huge thank you to our incredible team and leadership who make inclusion a reality every day. Let’s continue to champion diversity, equity, and belonging in all that we do!
