City of Melville’s Post

We’re thrilled to announce $15 million in funding from the Federal Government’s Thriving Suburbs Program for our future Library and Cultural Centre! This nearly $60 million project will be the largest cultural development in our City’s history and is set to become a vibrant hub for arts, culture, literature and learning, featuring: 📚 Our Main Library 🎨 Gallery & exhibition spaces 🏛️ Municipal museum 🌳 Outdoor civic space…and more! City of Melville Deputy Mayor Karen Wheatland and Chief Executive Officer Gail Bowman met with Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government Catherine King and Member for Tangney Sam Lim on Tuesday, 3 December at the Civic Square Library to celebrate the funding. Stay tuned as we bring this exciting vision to life, creating a space for everyone to explore, connect, and thrive.
