I am thrilled to share that we have successfully completed the ADNOC First Level Leadership program, “Leading for Lagacy” encompassing Parts A, B, and C. This journey has been both enriching and transformative, equipping us with essential leadership skills to drive our organization forward. Part A: about #Discover phase, we delved into self-awareness and strategic alignment. This phase was pivotal in understanding ADNOC's big picture and setting the foundation for driving business value. It taught us the importance of adapting our behavior and mindset to align with organizational goals. Part B: The #engage phase focused on team engagement and trust-building. We learned to foster an environment where our teams feel empowered to take initiative and solve problems independently. This phase emphasized the impact of effective communication and behavior-based safety on achieving high performance. Part C: In the final phase,#Deliver, we honed our skills in leading and managing change. We developed the ability to conduct powerful leadership conversations, influence outcomes, negotiate effectively, and handle conflicts. This phase prepared us to deliver results that align with ADNOC's strategic objectives and ensure a sustainable future. Completing this comprehensive leadership program has been a remarkable journey. How will the new resignation rules impact employees and employers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia? Here are the new additions to the Saudi Labor Law regarding resignation: - The amendment defines resignation as the employee's written declaration of their desire to terminate a fixed-term employment contract without any conditions or reservations, nor requiring the employer's acceptance. - Resignation has been added as a legitimate reason for terminating the contractual relationship in Article 74. - An employee can terminate an indefinite-term employment contract for a legitimate reason by giving written notice to the employer at least 30 days prior to the termination date. - An employer can terminate an indefinite-term employment contract for a legitimate reason by giving written notice to the employee at least 60 days prior to the termination date. - A resignation request is considered accepted if the employer does not respond within 30 days. The employer may postpone acceptance for up to 60 days if work interests require it, with a reasoned, written explanation provided to the employee within 30 days of the resignation submission. - The employee can withdraw the resignation request within 7 days of submission, unless the employer has accepted it. - The employment contract ends with the resignation on the date of the employer's acceptance, the expiration of the 30-day period from submission, or the expiration of the employer's specified postponement period. - It is not permissible to specify a deferred date for resignation in the request. - The employment contract remains valid during the resignation period, and both parties must fulfill all obligations. - An employee whose contract is terminated by resignation is entitled to all rights under the Labor Law, such as severance pay, compensation for leave days, and other applicable benefits.

Adnoc Awards Major EPC Contract for Expansion of UAE’s Largest Onshore Oilfield, Bab Insights: 1. Significant Contract Award: • The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) has awarded a substantial engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for further development of the Bab oilfield, the largest onshore oilfield in the UAE. • The contract is valued between $800 million and $1 billion and has been awarded to Robt Stone, a leading contractor based in the UAE. 2. Production Enhancement Goals: • This contract is part of Adnoc’s broader strategy to increase its oil production capacity from the current 4.85 million barrels per day (bpd) to 5 million bpd by 2027. • Industry sources indicate that Adnoc may achieve this production enhancement target ahead of schedule due to several ongoing development projects. 3. ADNOC has awarded contracts worth $5.5 billion to build its Ruwais project which will more than double the United Arab Emirates' LNG output, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said on Wednesday. ADNOC, which also received the final investment decision for the project on Wednesday, awarded the EPC contracts to a joint venture led by France's Technip Energies with Japan's JGC Corporation and the UAE's NMDC Group. The state oil giant has big ambitions in gas and LNG, which along with renewable energy and petrochemicals it sees as pillars for its future growth. It currently produces around 6 mtpa of LNG and aims to lift its capacity to 15 mtpa. ADNOC last year said the project would proceed in Al Ruwais Industrial City in Abu Dhabi's Al Dhafra region, west of the capital city, and not in the emirate of Fujairah as had been planned. The company said at the time the proximity to ADNOC's current operations and future growth projects, as well as its local supplier base, were all important factors in the decision. Acquisition of Ruwais LNG: Timing: ADNOC Gas plans to acquire ADNOC's 60% stake in the Ruwais LNG plant in the second half of 2028. Cost: The estimated cost of the acquisition is around $5 billion. Rationale: This acquisition aligns with ADNOC Gas's international growth strategy and strengthens its position in the global LNG market. Ruwais LNG Project: Capacity: The plant will have a total production capacity of 9.6 million tonnes per annum (mtpa). Production: Over 7 mtpa of the capacity has already been committed to international customers. Low-Carbon: Ruwais LNG will be one of the lowest-carbon intensity LNG plants globally. Technology: The plant will leverage AI and advanced digital technologies to enhance safety, minimize emissions, and drive efficiency. Timeline:The first train is expected to come online in the second half of 2028. The second train is expected to come online in early 2029. Investment and Partnerships: CAPEX: ADNOC Gas plans to invest $15 billion in capital expenditure over the next five years.
