Meet Muhammad Luqman Rashid: Experienced Electrical Engineering Supervisor
Muhammad Luqman Rashid is currently an Electrical Engineering Supervisor at Air Products in Saudi Arabia, with over 𝟴 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of experience in construction projects across Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the The University of Lahore and has international certifications including PMP, ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor, and ISO 50001 & 3000 in Energy & Risk Management. He is registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and Saudi Council of Engineering (SCE).
In his current role at Air Products (Pioneer of Green Hydrogen) on the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project, he is Contributing to a sustainability future by delivering the World's Largest Green Hydrogen Project. Muhammad Luqman Rashid leads the implementation of Electrical systems, ensuring adherence to rigorous standards such as SAES, NEC, NEMA, NFPA, ANSI, IEC etc. His responsibilities include preparing technical drawings, specifications, and overseeing construction activities from planning through to testing and commissioning.
Previously, at PETROJET in ARAMCO Huwaiyah Gas plant Expansion projects in Saudi Arabia, Muhammad Luqman Rashid demonstrated proficiency in coordinating electrical installations according to Saudi Aramco standards. He managed multidisciplinary teams, facilitated QA/QC processes, and liaised with various stakeholders to resolve project issues promptly.
Muhammad Luqman Rashid's career highlights include contributing to major infrastructure projects such as the ARAMCO Harad Gas Plant Expansion in KSA and the Orange Line Train Project in Pakistan. His expertise extends to managing electrical substation construction, control rooms, and implementing comprehensive safety protocols.
His multicultural exposure includes collaboration with diverse teams from Saudi Arabia, the US, Europe, Malaysia, Jordan, Turkey, China, India, among others, reflecting his adaptability and effective communication skills in multicultural settings.
