QUEEN OF ALL SAINTS

INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH

Our latest family of newcomers has arrived from

Afghanistan, only six months after making applica-
tion. The Canadian government fast tracked them
to bring them to safety so quickly. We are rapidly
getting them settled in a three-bedroom housing
unit in Shediac just down the street from their aunt, uncle and cousins.

We have been able to supply them with a lot of donated furniture and kitchen
items but they need: a kitchen table and chairs, coffee table, flat screen tv and they
would appreciate an area rug for their living room.

Through the generosity of many, we have already raised $18,000.00. Another

$20,000 will be required to support this family for our 1-year commitment.

Thank you for all your generosity and prayers. Please contact Bill Black
(506-850-8215), QAS International Outreach for more information.

We are happy to have you join us! Are you new to the
parish or have you been part of our community for awhile
but have just never registered? We would like to know
who you are. Please ask for a registration form or you
can register online at www.qasmoncton.com.

SCUBA: Diving into Friendship with God! Karen and Trevor would like to
thank all our collaborators who helped make our 2024 Vacation Bible School a successful
event. A large group of dedicated volunteers and staff worked diligently for several weeks
preparing for this popular event. In addition, the financial donations we received from local
groups and organizations helped in a very significant way to ensure a quality program to
help strengthen children in their faith. Thank you also to Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish
which generously provided space and resources, allowing us to take over the church and parish hall for a
week. Finally, we are grateful for the children who joined us and their families for taking advantage of this op-
portunity. We had a full house! We are already looking ahead to next year! ~Karen and Trevor
