Equal Exchange Coffee and Chocolate Bars

More than 10 years ago, the Women’s Guild at St. Mark’s learned
about Equal Exchange Coffee and Chocolate bars and decided to
begin to make these products available to members and also to serve
Equal Exchange Coffee. A former member, Christine Lange, brought
information to us at one of our Guild meetings – as well as samples of
a few products. We were convinced that we wanted to support this program that
connects us more closely to what we drink and eat and the farmers who produce it.
Equal Exchange’s mission is to build long-term trade partnerships that are
economically just and environmentally sound, to foster mutually beneficial relationships
between farmers and consumers and to demonstrate the contribution of worker co-
operatives and Fair Trade to create a more equitable, democratic and sustainable
world.
The Women’s Guild wants to remind you of the quality coffee and chocolate we
make available at a lower cost than in the local stores. Help us support the growers
and producers of these products.
Thanks!
