This Wednesday, witness the power of bold creativity in job hunting! 🌟 Meet Adam, a job seeker who turned his fortunes around not with a resume, but with a billboard. After countless failed applications, Adam took an extraordinary step by using his last £500 to buy a billboard stating, "I spent my last £500 on this billboard, please give me a job," and pointed potential employers to his website, EmployAdam.com. His billboard wasn't just a plea—it was a clever piece of advertising that perfectly showcased his media skills. The result? A flood of job offers from impressed companies, and a successful placement at a production company where he continued to innovate in hiring. Adam's story didn't end there. He celebrated his employment by buying a second billboard thanking everyone with his first salary, maintaining his flair for promotional genius. Adam's journey teaches us that sometimes, stepping out of the conventional job application box can lead to extraordinary outcomes. Are you ready to think outside the box for your career? #InnovativeJobSearch #CreativeCareer #JobHunting #MarketingGenius

What's wrong with job boards? A common area of complaint on our calls with jobseekers is job boards- too many clicks, pop-ups, low quality or fake jobs, too many needing accounts to be created and so on. As such a key component to job hunting these platforms need to do better- which job boards do you recommend? What improvements would you like to see to improve the job seeking experience? #jobboards

So, act wisely. 😎 2) On average, it typically takes 3 to 6 months from start to finish to secure a job. 😲 3) A high percent of online applications gets rejected by Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) due to formatting issues. 😫 Be mindful of ATS requirements. 4) Please don't forget to build your professional connections because as we know a lot of jobs are filled through friend's circle. 😎 If anything else comes to mind, feel free to share.... 🤗

# 🎯 The Power of Networking: How a Pickleball Game Led to My New Job 🎊 After six months of job searching, I'm thrilled to announce that I've accepted a new position! 🎉 But I really want to share the story of how I got here. Here's how it happened: 1. 🏸 I was playing pickleball with a friend (as I often do). 2. 💡 He mentioned that the company where his wife works had an open position. 3. 🤝 She offered to refer me, so I sent over my resume. 4. 📝 I went through the process: screening call, assignment, virtual interview. 5. ✨ Finally, I got the call from the hiring manager with the offer! The takeaway? Never underestimate the power of your network – even on the pickleball court! 💪 This experience reinforced for me how crucial networking is in today's job market. Here are a few quick tips I've learned: - 🔗 Stay connected with friends, former colleagues, and acquaintances. - 🗣️ Be open about your job search (when appropriate). - 🌟 Engage in activities you enjoy – you never know who you'll meet! - 📈 Always be ready to discuss your skills and career goals. To everyone still in the job search trenches: keep at it, stay positive, and don't forget to leverage your network. Your next opportunity might come from the most unexpected place! 🎯✨ #JobSearch #Networking #CareerAdvice #NewBeginnings 🚀

🔔 🌟 Attention Network 🌟🔔 Are you actively job hunting? OR maybe you are just passively interested in what other opportunities are out there? If you already know this, please scroll on, but I wanted to highlight a crucial error that so many people do and don't realise is important. Make sure your LinkedIn profile is comprehensive! 📝 As a recruiter, I can't stress enough how vital this is. When we search for potential candidates that are not already in our network, we use Boolean search techniques (using key words) in the back end of Linkedin, to filter through profiles. If your LinkedIn profile lacks information on the projects/skills/experience you have, you are more than likely going to miss out on amazing opportunities! 😱 You'd be surprised how many profiles we see that just contain job titles 🙈 By creating a detailed LinkedIn profile that matches your CV, you increase your visibility and improve your chances of being discovered by recruiters like me. Key tips: Include thorough job descriptions, key skills, achievements, and educational background. ✨ Remember, your LinkedIn profile is your digital professional identity, so make it sure its accurate and up to date✨ #CareerTip #LinkedInProfile #JobSearchSuccess

THE POWER OF REAL JOB CLUBS: WHY YOU NEED MORE THAN JUST SUPPORT 🔵Did you know that most job clubs have a success rate of just 10%? That’s because many of these so-called "job clubs" are more like Job-Search Support Groups, meeting just once a week for a few hours. While they provide much-needed encouragement, they often fall short of helping you land a job. 🔵But here’s the good news: real job clubs, as originally designed by Nathan Azrin, can boast a success rate of 84%! These clubs treat job hunting like a full-time job, with daily meetings, partner feedback, and shared job leads. Participants work together from 9 to 5, actively pursuing opportunities, and supporting each other throughout the process. 🔵Unfortunately, this model has nearly disappeared due to funding cuts and cultural shifts, but the blueprint still exists. And even though most modern job clubs have “dumbed down,” they still offer one invaluable asset—a community. No one should have to job-hunt alone. At Accurate Resume, we understand the power of community and the importance of a strategic job search. Let us help you navigate your job hunt more effectively. You don’t have to do it alone. 💼 #JobSearch #CareerAdvice #KenyaJobs
