🔔 🌟 Attention Network 🌟🔔 Are you actively job hunting? OR maybe you are just passively interested in what other opportunities are out there? If you already know this, please scroll on, but I wanted to highlight a crucial error that so many people do and don't realise is important. Make sure your LinkedIn profile is comprehensive! 📝 As a recruiter, I can't stress enough how vital this is. When we search for potential candidates that are not already in our network, we use Boolean search techniques (using key words) in the back end of Linkedin, to filter through profiles. If your LinkedIn profile lacks information on the projects/skills/experience you have, you are more than likely going to miss out on amazing opportunities! 😱 You'd be surprised how many profiles we see that just contain job titles 🙈 By creating a detailed LinkedIn profile that matches your CV, you increase your visibility and improve your chances of being discovered by recruiters like me. Key tips: Include thorough job descriptions, key skills, achievements, and educational background. ✨ Remember, your LinkedIn profile is your digital professional identity, so make it sure its accurate and up to date✨ #CareerTip #LinkedInProfile #JobSearchSuccess

Hi Connections, Job hunting can be a challenging and stressful process, having been through it multiple times myself, I understand the frustrations it can bring. And I’m making this post because I feel sorry for all those who message me on LinkedIn for referrals as I’m unable to help them. Here are some tips to enhance your job search: ( I ain’t an expert. Experience makes the man perfect 🤣) - Rather than reaching out to individuals on LinkedIn, consider visiting the company's LinkedIn page and career site directly for the latest openings. - Referrals are valuable, but they should come from individuals who know your work closely and can vouch for your capabilities. Networking strategically with the right connections can make a significant difference. - While employees may not be involved in CV shortlisting, reaching out to HR professionals and Recruiters directly on LinkedIn can increase your chances. By searching for key personnel in the company's profile, you can ensure your CV gets to the right hands for review. - Make sure your CV is ATS compatible. - Keep LinkedIn profile updated. Consider visiting the profiles of people with similar job role and refer how they have put it out. Wishing you success in your job search endeavors! #JobSearch #CareerAdvice #LinkedInTips

Hey connections! If you're planning to reach out for a job vacancy or referral, let's rethink the approach. I get it – culturally, we're often inclined towards polite small talk before asking for help. But on LinkedIn, where recruiters and hiring managers are swamped, it's best to be direct. Let's get rid of unnecessary salutations like "Hi, how are you?" etc and get straight to the point. It would not only save time but would also enhance your chances of getting response. I receive numerous requests in a day and while I try my best to reply, it does get overwhelming when people beat around the bush. There's no shame in asking for opportunities – that's what LinkedIn is for! But being upfront about your purpose and background will significantly increase your chances of a response. Let's streamline job hunting! Please keep this in mind when messaging me... or anyone else! #jobsearch #linkedintips #referral #careeradvice

I have been getting a lot of doubts lately about how to ask for a referral on LinkedIn. Many people have mentioned that even after messaging a lot of connections from their dream companies, they are not getting responses. Here’s some advice to help you ask for a referral effectively: Share the Link to the Open Position: Don't wait for them to ask—always include a direct link to the job posting. This makes it easy for the referrer to review the job details quickly. Attach Your Resume in the Message: Make sure to attach your resume so that the person can easily assess your qualifications and have all the necessary information at their fingertips. Briefly Explain Your Background: Provide a concise summary of your experience and why you believe you’re a great fit for the role. This helps the referrer understand your suitability Most Important: Don't make your message too long. By following these steps, you make it more convenient for your network to assist you. Remember, a well-crafted message can significantly increase your chances of getting a response. Happy job hunting! 🚀 #JobSearch #CareerAdvice #Networking #Referrals #JobHuntingTips

Job Hunting Tips You Won’t Hear Everywhere! 1. Build a Targeted Company List! The average job seeker applies to 20+ positions, but quantity doesn’t mean quality. Start with a list of 10-15 companies that truly align with your values, industry interests, and career vision. Tailor your resume and outreach to reflect this research. This personal touch can increase your response rate by 40%! 2. Show Your Work, Not Just Your Resume. In competitive fields, employers value proof of your skills. Create a portfolio or a work sample specific to the job role you’re applying for. Whether it’s a mini project, a case study, or a detailed presentation, show them what you can bring. 3. Get Niche with LinkedIn Networking: Less Is More Connecting with recruiters is helpful, but strategic connections in niche areas are better. Look for second-degree connections at your target companies who are in similar roles to the one you want. #JobSearchTips #CareerGrowth #JobHunt #LinkedInTips #Qureos
