STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
“Study like there’s no tomorrow because if you keep putting off your studies for tomorrow,
you’ll probably be too late”
In my school days I had an urge to know more about software and understand them in greater
detail, especially the one relating to technology. This inspired me to take up engineering as the
subject for my undergraduate study. Enthusiasm, self, belief and a lot of hard work helped me secure
a seat in a reputed college known as the Mallareddy College of Engineering and Technology
(MRCET). Which is an Autonomous Institution-UGC,Govt. Of INDIA, Accredited as the ‘A’ Grade
College of INDIA as the best known engineering college.
Information Technology had always been a great fascination to me owing to its

high potential of transforming me into the Software way of life, especially the field of Technology. I
have therefore chosen Bachelor of Engineering with Information Technology as a major in my B.tech.
My never give up attitude always helped me to accomplish my goals.
During my undergraduate course I participated in the annually held technical fest at our college termed
Exbueranza-2012. I also designed and developed software which was named as ADAPTIVE TESTING
MECHNISM (ATM) is an assessment tool designed in PHP. This mainly targets providing assessments for
campus placements in colleges. This application aims to overcome the drawbacks of the existing system
and implementing a few additional features. Here we can upload the questions to the database after
converting it into CSV format now the questions are taken into an array and sent into browser memory
instead of server database, which makes the whole process simpler and also very fast as we are using the
browser memory. This was when I realized my fascination of computer technology and its creative
possibilities.
Right after my studies, I started working as a Process Associate in GENPACT due to my inclination towards
computer Software which I had developed during the fest Exbueranza-2012 and also the opportunities
available in the IT sector of India. This was my first job and since then I have been working for a year
period spent in the company contributing to immense growth in both my knowledge and industry level
field experience, I had to deal with the GMAIL accounts of the users worldwide helping them in
recovering their accounts, It was the GOOGLE process and the main frame I was dealing with was BIG
DATA and combination of GOOGLE Admin version 2.0, I had to deal with the passwords of the users so
privacy at work is a high PRIORITY
I firmly believe that education is never complete unless, one actively participates in co-curricular and
extra-curricular activities. I have always involved myself in events such as debates / cultural programs /
paper presentations organized in our college Mallareddy College of Engineering and
Technology(MRCET).Besides volunteering to participate in any scholastic pursuits inside and outside my
college.
Understanding the requirements and challenges in the IT organizations, I strongly felt to update myself
with the latest technologies and understand the business culture in IT sector so,I feel convinced that the
Software Engineering Technology post-graduate diploma program at the Centennial college is tuned for
me and serves as the path found to gain advance skills which directly helps me becoming a successful
Software Developer, As per the course work focuses on object-oriented software design
methodologies, user-oriented interface design, software testing and QA, C#, Java, Java EE,
Oracle, MS-SQL Server, Unix/Linux, Microsoft's .NET, HTML5/XML, Ajax and Rich Internet
Applications technologies which directly opens the opportunities as Systems analyst, Business
analyst, Web application developer, Database administrator, Applications or software support
for me in many of the reputed software center firms like IBM, Accenture,GOOGLE etc.
Canada is a country which I have always admired for its hospitality and geographical beauty. I believe
that CANADA is the ideal location and its one of the countries with high quality educational standard,
international student’s mix and legitimacy for its education made me choose CANADA as an ideal option.
Centennial College has the Canadian Information Processing Society and the Canadian Council of
Technician and Technologies (CCTT) jointly approved accreditation of this program in 2011.
This joint accreditation is the first of its kind in Canada. provided with I am looking forward to
having a great learning experience.
While my job has helped me in developing a detailed insight in technologies, but I must build on these to
achieve crisp knowledge in advanced computing, with specific reference to Software technologies. I
therefore believe that I must return to the academic world for further growth. I hence appeared for IELTS
and scored an overall band of 6.5.
I do realize that in academics, I am so far only on the first page of the book and hence I want to pursue
this post-graduation program to focus on my interest viz. Software technologies. And, for this reason, my
words stand before you today, requesting you to consider my candidature and approve visa to pursue my
higher education in Canada.
I have paid my tuition fee of $7,971 CAD for the first semester at Centennial College and I have got my
education loan approved from AP MAHESH CO.OPERATIVE URBAN BANK for my living expenses and
remaining tution fees, Iam also being sponsored by my parents.
