confident attitude. As I always seek learning and focus more on practical knowledge, Canada
seems the perfect country for me. Hence, I am very glad to apply for the Canada Study Permit
and am submitting my application for your kind consideration. I have enrolled in the program
Post-Graduate in Cloud Computing at Loyalist College, Canada which is considered one of the
most reputed colleges in Canada.
Cloud computing is a general term for anything that involves delivering hosted services over the
internet. These services are divided into three main categories or types of cloud computing:
infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS).
A cloud can be private or public. A public cloud sells services to anyone on the internet. A
private cloud is a proprietary network or a data center that supplies hosted services to a limited
number of people, with certain access and permissions settings. Private or public, the goal of
cloud computing is to provide easy, scalable access to computing resources and IT services.
Cloud infrastructure involves the hardware and software components required for the proper
implementation of a cloud computing model. Cloud computing can also be thought of as utility
computing or on-demand computing. An internet network connection links the front end, which
includes the accessing client device, browser, network, and cloud software applications, with the
back end, which consists of databases, servers, and computers. All these drove me to pursue
cloud computing.
I completed my Secondary School Certificate (10th Std.) in March 2014 from Gujarat Secondary
and Higher Secondary Education Board. As I had good control over Mathematics and Science, I
opted for Science Stream for my Higher Secondary Education (12 th Std.) in March 2016 from
Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. I enrolled & accomplished my
Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the reputed Gujarat Technological University- Sardar
Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology, Vasad with 7.49 C.G.P.A. out of 10 in the year August
2020.
I did the Industrial programme (Internship) to gain practical knowledge with industrial
experience which will show me the path to be a professional in the field. This training was really
helpful for developing my skill. After my Industrial training at Octa Core Technologies in 2020,
they appointed me as a Junior Web Developer. My roles and responsibilities included writing
code in one or more programming or scripting languages such as PHP or Java script plans and
prototyping new applications, designing the architecture of the components of an application,
fixing bugs in existing projects, test new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct
task in all cases, run performance benchmarking test, gather requirements from clients and
users, built and maintain databases, maintain and update websites, monitor website traffic,
attend and speak at web development conferences and workshops. This job also helped me to
develop my communication skills and how to interact with professionals. I have been working in
Octa Core Technologies to date. During my job, I realized that I need to dive more into cloud
computing and then decided to pursue my further education abroad. Hence, after discussion &
with my parent's consent I started my Student Visa Process for Canada. I appeared for
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) on 10th October 2020 & scored overall
6.5 Bands.
Canada appealed to me with its world-class education, high-quality programs and industry-
relevant curriculum. While I was in search of attaining global exposure and practical training in
my field of study. As Canada offered affordable academic options without compromising on the
quality, I finalized my decision in favor of it. Moreover, Canada is a safe country with friendly
living conditions and a multicultural learning environment, which would make my stay
comfortable. All these aspects influenced me to choose Canada as my study destination.
