STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
“Controlling complexity is the essence of computer programming.” – Brian Kernighan
Computers have become an immense part of our lives; starting from being a mere object for storing huge
amounts of data, computers have now evolved into being the backbone of all the advancements in
technology, management, engineering, medicine, and humanity. The transformation from the rhetoric
methodologies to the newer methods of technological advancements is swiftly taking over the world and
transforming the business sector completely. With an immensely strong desire to be a part of this mega
revolution along with aiming for an independent and revered career ahead, I started to lay the foundational
stones toward my goals. Hence, I Pujan Miteshkumar Shah, believe that with exposure to an international
education and learning concept, I shall be able to propel my talents in the field of computer programming in
a more efficient and comprehensive manner.
ACADEMIC DETAILS
Presenting my academia, I completed my 10 th board in the year 2020 from, the “Central Board of Secondary
Education” with 83%. I moved on to complete my Higher Secondary Education from the stream of Science
(physics, chemistry, and math) in 2022 by obtaining %. I'm an individual who has consistently had a
significant enthusiasm and interest for areas requiring an analytical approach.
Nevertheless, the desire to strengthen my learning curve still lingers. I have been constantly looking for
chances to acquire profound knowledge and understanding about Computer programming. With a strong
aspiration to establish myself as a successful Programmer I now choose to pursue my further education in
Computer Programming from Seneca College. After researching a lot I zeroed on Canada and started
prepping for my IELTS exam where I scored an overall of 7.0 bands.
Reasons to choose Computer Programming Course:

Computer Programming is not just about syntax and coding, one can make a difference in the lives of people
by developing applications. Aiming towards contributing to the digitization of various systems across the
globe whilst bringing a change in the lives of people, I thought it to be appropriate to enroll in Computer
Programming. With the hands-on practical learning, I am sure to be able to give my bit towards the most
important transformation in the industries of the world. I believe that this program has to offer what I wished
for in my future education. Computer Programming will help me bridge the gap between the transformation
from the rhetorical methods of bookkeeping to the modern methodologies of programming and software
development. I believe that with the knowledge gained from my previous educational qualification, I will be
able to augment better results by learning about an in-depth course such as the one selected by me. The
courses involve subjects ranging from Computer Systems-Hardware, Web Development-
Fundamentals, System Support & Automation, Mainframe Development and many more. With my
distinct fascination with this course, I am sure I will excel in this program and learn it thoroughly.

Before reaching my final decision regarding the choice of institution, I researched extensively and found

institution of Seneca College. The institution consists of advanced state-of-the-art computer software and
hardware design, theoretical foundations of computing, and systems development. With faculty members
being engaged in cross-disciplinary research at the intersection of computer programming, I believe this
college is committed to teaching quality education with an ideal setting of a holistic approach for its
overseas students.
I believe Canada to be a country with the highest standard of living, having all the facilities one can learn
and educate themselves from while understanding and adapting to the new life of professionalism, along
with providing a safe environment for international students along with exemplary levels of universal
education, high-grade health care systems and low crime rate. Additionally, the country provides a safe

Future Plans and Opportunities in India:

Computers Programming is an exquisite blend of a variety of disciplines providing with the knowledge to
tackle issues which impact the growth of organizations at the local, national, and global levels. Upon being
educated from the course chosen by me, I see a plethora of career opportunities, both in the public and
private sectors. I visualize myself to have great options lying ahead of me as I have the freedom to work in
any aspect as I wish to. After gaining the profound knowledge of Computer Programming, I would love to
work as a member of a team to analyse, design, enhance, and maintain software applications, on a variety of
platforms including desktop, mobile, web, and mainframe systems and many more. India is amongst the
fastest evolving countries growing at a very fast pace and has been augmenting technological developments
significantly since a very long time.
I wish to come back to my home country with a view of investing the knowledge gained by me for the
development of the organization I am employed in along with helping my country progress. I will be able to
put my start to career in one of the esteemed companies of India, such as: Infosys, Tata Consultancy
Services (TCS), Mahindra Tech, Amazon, Accenture, Master Card and many other. I wish to propel
my talents by working for one of the top software tycoons. Moreover, being the responsible son of
parents, I will definitely return back to my family to be with and shoulder their responsibilities along
with focusing on my career growth.
Financial Details and other visa-related information:
To Conclude, I have met the entire necessary criterion and paid one-year fees of CAD mention your
fees and GIC of CAD 10250 in Scotia Bank, Canada as per the norms and have also attached all the
required financial documents along with this SOP to prove that I have sufficient funds to support my
educational and living expenses during my studies in Canada.
