Are you a regular Deliberate Freelancer podcast listener? Do you have some valuable freelance business experiences and lessons you'd like to share with fellow freelancers? Pitch yourself for Deliberate Freelancer! WHAT I WANT AND DON'T WANT: I've had some great coaches on the show, and I've had some great freelancers who sell courses or coaching. HOWEVER, I would like to focus more on actual listeners to the show who are not trying to sell courses and who are not a coach. I want to interview REGULAR freelancers who listen to the show and are providing any type of freelance service to clients — what type of conversation would you like to have with me on the podcast? What irks you about freelance advice? What lessons have you learned? Don't be shy! Email me at [email protected].
Just sent you a message. As a full-time freelance writer, author, ghostwriter and donut eater, I have 40 plus years of writing tales and adventures to share with freelance writers. Since 1996 I have been doing this full-time from my home office in Delaware...so I must be doing something right! Check out my 35th book (and 1st self-published title): "The Flying Nun, A Light Bulb Moment And Me: 40 Years Making Money As A Freelance Writer (Hey, You Can Do It, Too!)." https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09JBKMR61?ref_=pe_3052080_397514860
Do you know what? I fit the bill and I think I'm going to email you about this! I'm a regular listener (and big fan) of the show AND 'appearing as a guest on podcasts' is on my To Do list. This has a strong sense of serendipity about it, Melanie! But we'll see what you think of my ideas before I get too carried away…!
I saw this post on a Saturday morning and contemplated pitching myself.. then forgot about it. The other day I was thinking about it and here is your post. I always thought I have to have a reason to be on a podcast or reach a level of "expert" to qualify. It's refreshing to see your post. I've also never been on a podcast.
Hi Melanie, regular listener who's not selling coaching or classes :) I sent you an email a few weeks back with some ideas. Looking forward to lots of good insights this season!
This sounds like a podcast I need to listen to - just subscribed!
Melanie Padgett Powers This sounds fun! I just sent you an email.
Just sent you an email!

1moThanks, Melanie! I might have to think on this because I guess I've always thought you HAVE TO have something to sell to be a guest! HA! I don't have anything to sell except my freelance content marketing and journalism writing services. No courses, groups, etc.
