Day 2️⃣ of Demofest will unfold this afternoon, European time.
Day 1️⃣ was as usual, packed with thought provoking and inspiring content, simply scanning my notes some of my take-aways....
🔗 Susan Beal talked about the confluence of Customer Success and Presales to drive greater customer advocacy and the evolution of the Presales role
📼 Art Fromm reiterated the point that whilst a lot has changed from a B2B buying behaviour perspective, Sales and Presales have not changed accordingly
🎤 David Duffett gave us a masterclass on presentation planning and delivery with his 7 Power Presenting Protocols to incorporate into your approach
👮 Steffen Brettschneider provided some new "crimes" to watch out for as Presales modernises and digitises some of the service.
🔮 Ani Gottiparthy gave some real insights into reality of AI and LLM in the Presales domain.
👥 Garin Hess challenged us to think deeper about what the facts are telling us, the influence of Marketing and Presales upon the Buyer Journey and how a more joined up approach to deliver a "Qualified Buying Group" as a gate in the funnel would benefit everyone.
👁️ Chad Wilson, Daniel Conway and Taunya Bunte held a great, conversational session on building, maintaining and evolving your Personal Brand, sharing authentic, real world experiences and stories.
🤖 Todd Janzen challenged Presales to recognise the function is in transition, to redefine the role, rethink the comp structure and take take ownership of the data and apps required to deliver excellence. Oh, and demo'd some tools that are like a wake-up call as to how productivity and scale are coming to Presales operations 🫶
📊 Mark Green and Kerry Sokalsky strolled through sections of the Consensus Compensation and Workload report bringing some of the data to life. With the growing scale of the statistical sample and now the tenure of the report, this now brings trending insights across the profession.
