COO of Ikanesia, Ibnu Hasanudin leads transformative social economy projects in Kebalen, Bekasi Regency. With a mission to uplift local communities, Ibnu focuses on empowering milkfish farmers, creating sustainable solutions for fish waste, and supporting women entrepreneurs in milkfish processing. Under his leadership, Ikanesia has introduced innovative practices such as using insect-based feed to improve fish nutrition while promoting low-carbon, eco-friendly solutions. Ibnu also facilitates skills training for women, enabling them to produce high-quality presto milkfish and enter the market as independent entrepreneurs. Through these initiatives, Ibnu Hasanudin has not only strengthened the local economy but also contributed to reducing stunting in the region. His vision for Kebalen exemplifies how collaborative social projects can create lasting impacts, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth and sustainability.

In Indonesia, around 85% of the raw ingredients used to make animal feed are imported, which raises expenses and has a big effect on the environment. Ikanesia Nusantara Akuamarin, a green manufacturing firm that was chosen as one of the organizations in CCE 3.0, is taking on this challenge head-on in response. With over 10 years of experience, Ikanesia has successfully sold more than 70,000 pallets of their products and helped over 25,000 fish hobbyists reduce their carbon footprint. Through close collaboration with the #communities surrounding its processing facilities, Ikanesia teaches residents how to gather trash from fish, rice, and corn and turn it into usable raw materials. They create high-nutrition animal feed while cutting #waste and strengthening local communities by using insects as a covert nutrient enhancer to further improve feed quality.
