Berikan Protein Initiative, as the part of the Berikanesia Lestari consortium, proudly announces its success in securing grant funding from GoTo Impact Foundation. This funding was awarded during the GoTo Innovation Day event held at Artotel Mangkuluhur, Jakarta, from September 30 to October 2, 2024. This project will be implemented in Belitung Island by utilizing former mining land for sustainable aquaculture development. Through this initiative, we aim to optimize local resources and provide solutions to the persistent stunting problem in the region, which currently stands at 18.5% according to the 2022 Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey. “Our success in securing this grant is the result of hard work and solid collaboration between Berikan Protein Initiative, Ikanesia (PT. Ikanesia Nusantara Akuamarin), and Selaras Muba Lestari. We believe that by utilizing former mining land for aquaculture, we can not only create jobs but also help improve family nutrition by providing access to quality fishery products,” said Khodijah A Zahir, Program Manager of Berikan Protein Initiative. As part of this program, identified beneficiary families in the stunting program will receive economic assistance through the processing of fish into supplementary food products for malnourished children and local food souvenirs from Belitung. In this way, we hope to empower the local community while enhancing their welfare. Berikanesia Lestari consortium successfully secured this funding after a lengthy selection process lasting four months, competing with over thousand participants. We are proud to be the only consortium awarded the grant in the Belitung implementation area and are committed to executing this project with full dedication. We hope that with the support from Go To Impact Foundation, this initiative will have a significant impact on the Belitung community and serve as a model for similar projects in the future.

We’re thrilled to announce these consortiums from CCE 3.0 are selected to roll out transformative projects across Indonesia! Berikanesia Lestari (Ikanesia (PT. Ikanesia Nusantara Akuamarin), Berikan Protein Initiative, Selaras Muba Lestari) will turn waste into affordable feed and cultivate milkfish in Belitung’s former mining areas. Lombok Eco Craft (Plana (Plastic for Nature), Wise Steps Foundation, Timba) aims to boost tourism in Central Lombok by implementing effective waste management strategies, creating green jobs within a circular economy. For Magelang, Magelang Setories (Setara Indonesia, Waste & Wishes Indonesia, Bhumee Organic) is set to advance agriculture through digitalization, farmer training, and product development. And for Malang, Gandrung Tirta (PT. BIOPS Agrotekno Indonesia, Agroniaga Indonesia Sejahtera, Rise Social Organization, FAM Rural (PT.FAM)) will empower local youth by mapping village potentials and supporting sustainable coffee agribusiness through cultivation, post-harvest processes, and waste management. These initiatives mark a significant step toward positive changes for local communities. It's been a privilege mentoring Berikanesia Lestari to success at the GoTo Impact Foundation's CCE program. The Catalyst Changemakers Lab has just concluded, and we couldn’t be prouder of our 55 changemakers who embarked on this incredible journey to create innovative solutions for communities in Belitung, Magelang, Malang, and Central Lombok. The changemakers began their 3 months journey by diving into the Ideation phase, dedicating countless hours refining ideas and mastering new tools. Next, they went through the Readiness Assessment Lab where they explored real challenges and discovered new opportunities. Finally, during the Solution Scale and Development Lab, their efforts paid off as they turned ideas into action with compelling pitches and detailed proposals. This journey wouldn't have been possible without the incredible support of our mentors, industry experts, and CCE alumni. Their guidance and encouragement really helped our changemakers reach this milestone, and now they are ready for what comes next! But this is just the start! Rapat Umum Anggota (RUA) dan Sustainable District Outlook (SDO) Lingkar Temu Kabupaten Lestari (LTKL) Tahun 2024 Lingkar Temu Kabupaten Lestari (LTKL) menggelar acara Sustainable District Outlook 2024 bertema "Transformasi Kabupaten Lestari Menuju Visi Indonesia 2045: Aksi, Inovasi, dan Kolaborasi” Penyelenggaraan Sustainable District Outlook berdampingan dengan Rapat Umum Anggota LTKL yang diadakan setiap tahunnya, yang ditandai dengan peluncuran laporan tahunan LTKL. Sembilan kabupaten anggota LTKL terdiri dari Sintang (Kalbar), Siak (Riau), Gorontalo, Bone Bolango (Gorontalo), Sanggau (Kalbar), Musi Banyuasin (Sumsel), Aceh Tamiang (Aceh), Sigi (Sulteng) dan Kapuas Hulu (Kalbar). Beberapa capaian Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin di tahun 2023-2024 yaitu pembentukan sentra inkubasi lestari bernama SELARAS MUBA LESTARI, pengembangan produk turunan basis alam seperti pemanfaatan limbah gambir untuk kain gambo dan optimalisasi peran PUKL sebagai penghubung peluang investasi hijau untuk Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Kak Aziza (Ketua Selaras Muba Lestari) bercerita tentang peranan orang muda lokal melalui SELARAS MUBA LESTARI di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Dalam agenda RUA dan SDO Tahun 2024 juga ditampilkan beberapa produk unggulan dari kabupaten anggota LTKL salah satunya Kab.
