Yes. Another PADC post. 💀 Last Friday, we took home three bronze skulls from this year's Perth Advertising and Design Club (PADC) awards. Shiny new office decor is always nice, but receiving industry acclaim for our work with RTRFM 92.1 and Matso's (A company of Good Drinks Australia Ltd) was the real win. These projects represent exactly the kind of work we love creating - so seeing them recognised on a stage as prestigious as PADC's Skull Awards left us feeling pretty humbled. We received bronze for: ✔️ RTRFM Brand Refresh (Design: Brand Refresh – Small to Medium) ✔️ RTRFM Website (Websites – Brand Experience) ✔️ Matso's Website (Websites – Brand Experience) None of this would have been possible without the constant trust and support from RTRFM and Matso's. Both of these projects gave us the freedom to explore new territories and push for something extraordinary. Creating meaningful work comes naturally with clients who share your excitement for doing great things. Endless thanks to Simon Miraudo (RTRFM) and Olivia Waters (Matso's) for being legends every step of the way! To our ridiculously talented team who brought these projects to life – you're brilliant. Beyond the awards, PADC delivered another incredible night of connection and celebration. It's always inspiring to see the caliber of work coming out of WA's creative community. We were commissioned to capture the Perth Festival summer in sound - creating a string of tunes to match this year's themes of sand dunes & salty air, truth tellers, and mischief makers. Here's one of a few sun-soaked tracks you might hear in the coming months - inspired heavily by Jungle. This weekend, thousands of high-cheekboned hopefuls descended on Washington Square Park for a $50 Timothée Chalamet lookalike contest. Yep… $50. Not even enough to cover the rental fee for your Wonka-worthy purple velvet suit from Spotlight. Plot twist – they came anyway. Not just a few genetically blessed, curly-haired lads - but a crowd so massive the cops had to shut it down. And then? Timothée himself crashed the party. Since 1977, RTRFM 92.1 has been the beating heart of Perth’s alternative music scene, championing local artists and providing a platform for diverse voices. As fellow music lovers and former volunteers, we were rapt to come on board alongside the RTRFM team to bring a re-defined vibrancy to their brand - and a shiny new site for them to call home. This looked a little like… 📏 Redefining the user experience and website hierarchy to make finding your favourite podcast a breeze. 🖌️ Breathing new life into the brand through a reimagined visual direction - including graphic style, fonts, colours, and more. 🧑💻 Designing & developing our dream website, with full creative freedom to test a few limits. 🖥️ Then, we got to do it all again with the launch of RTR2! 👕 To cap it all off, we designed some fresh merch to embody RTR’s new visual identity.
