conducts research to answer customer inquiries; submits via WSIS field work orders for meter re-reads and meter tests; reviews

field results; estimates and recommends billing adjustments; submits documentation for waiver of deposits after payments are

made and requests for refund checks if customers have overpaid; follows up with customers to provide information on actions

taken.
 Works with delinquent account customers to establish credit arrangements to avoid shut-off; prepares credit arrangement

contracts for signature.


 Responds to a high volume of customer transactions and resolves customer account questions, problems and complaints; verifies

customer account information by telephone, mail or fax; submits emergency and non-emergency requests for field service orders

for meter repairs, investigation of water leaks and other problems; records service comments in WSIS customer account records;

reverses security deposits, late fees and delinquent processing charges within authority levels, when warranted by the

supervisor, assistant supervisor or senior associate.

up by the Conservation division.


 Provides backup to Customer Credit/Collection Associates in processing delinquent accounts.

 When assigned to the Conservation division, responds to conservation hotline inquiries regarding general water and water

conservation questions and refers calls to other staff, divisions or departments when appropriate; educates customers regarding

programs and services; categorizes and creates work orders regarding reported water waste and ordinance violations;

coordinates and provides training to temporary and intern personnel staffing the hotline during the summer season on District

organization and functions, operations of WSIS and procedures for creating action tracking work orders, District telephone and
computer systems and conservation programs and services; handles the more difficult and specialized customer relations

Drivers
 Duties include operating and maintaining transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and
customer courtesy; performing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; performing minor
maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary; fueling the vehicles; ensuring that periodic
scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported; documenting customer usage;
preparing trip reports; preparing accident and incident reports as necessary; assisting passengers
