NATIONAL HOMOEOPATHY SEMINAR ON NON COMMUNICABLE

DISEASES- A REPORT

National Homoeopathy Seminar on Non Communicable Diseases was organised by Dr.


D. P. Rastogi Central Research Institute (CRI) of Homoeopathy, Noida under Central
Council for Research in Homoeopathy (An Autonomous Body under Ministry of
AYUSH Govt. of India) on 2nd - 3rd November, 2017 at F-2 Auditorium, Amity
University Noida (U.P.) with technical collaboration of Amity University. The whole
programme was funded under Central Sector Scheme Ministry of AYUSH Govt. of
India.

The programme was inaugurated by the guests, Dr. Vaidya Rajesh Kuteja, Secretary
Homoeopathy, Govt. of India; Dr. Kanwal Sethi, Advisor Homoeopathy, Ministry of
AYUSH; Dr. R. K. Manchanda, Director General, CCRH, Govt. of India; Dr. B. K.
Khanna, former Principal, NHMC & H and others. The inaugural speech was given by
Dr. B. S. Arya, Officer-in-charge, Dr.D. P. Rastogi Central Research Institute (CRI)
of Homoeopathy, Noida.

After the inaugural session the scientific session was started and the different topics on
non communicable diseases like COPD, Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus and Cancer
was discussed by various speakers.

The whole training programme was divided into four sessions (two sessions in a day)
and there was an interactive session after each session. The concluding speech was
given by the Organising Secretary, Dr. Yogendra Rai, Scientists-IV, DDPR CRI(H),
Noida. Three delegates from our department (Homoeopathic wing) have participated in
the seminar and the name of the participants are- Dr. Brender Sharma, Dr. Veenita S.
Jacob and Dr. Md. Sayeed Akhtar. The training programme was conducted
successfully and the certificates of participation are given to all the delegates
participated in the training programme.
