Starting today, cultivated chicken is officially BANNED in Alabama. 🚫 Because we’re the curious sort, we explored some of Alabama’s other active bans to check out the company we’ll be in. Turns out, many are just as cluckin’ ridiculous as the one for cultivated meat, which takes away Alabamians’ free choice to eat a delicious, FDA & USDA-approved meat offering a more humane and sustainable option. Legislation like this continues to limit choices and stifle innovation. We believe it’s about providing MORE choices for consumers — complementing, not competing. #CultivatedMeat #FoodInnovation #UPSIDEFoods
I believe that this bans will increase the awareness and the interest to try these products :-) this ban is irrelevant for the sector as one day when they need cell-based foods, they will change the ban.
