Great initiative by World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) While major brands invest big dollars in sponsorship, it is easily forgotten that the Olympics are not just a stage for the mega star athletes to perform but a universal arena for all 10'000+ athletes worldwide to come and compete. Equal access to quality sporting goods to perform is often neglected. Many #NOC National Olympic Committees struggle to meet the demands of their athletes to compete in the most optimal conditions. 2% of Olympians will benefit from this initiative. This doesn't seem a lot but it means that 500 athletes have been training and managed to qualify for Paris2024 without benefiting from top-quality equipment... Meet the team who have helped ensure no athlete is left behind as the Olympic Games Paris 2024 gets underway today!
