🌟 Give2Asia x Myriad Alliance Networking Reception 🌍 Give2Asia and Myriad Alliance proudly hosted an unforgettable networking reception at the stunning M+ Lounge during the Hong Kong Jockey Club's Philanthropy for Better Cities conference earlier this month. With over 150 distinguished donors, grantees, and key stakeholders from Australia, Europe, and China in attendance, the event offered an inspiring opportunity to reconnect, forge new partnerships, and exchange valuable insights on our shared mission. 🌱🤝 The reception featured an agenda-free format that encouraged organic conversations, allowing attendees to explore potential collaborations and deepen the impact of our work across borders. It was a pleasure seeing both longtime partners and new faces come together to advance global philanthropy. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at this dynamic gathering! We look forward to continuing these conversations and driving lasting change. 🌏✨ 📽️ Watch the event recap video here: https://lnkd.in/gMbMFMjd #Give2Asia #MyriadAlliance #PhilanthropyForBetterCities #GlobalPhilanthropy #NetworkingEvent #Partnerships

🌍 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐭𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 🌍 We are proud to share a wonderful example of how the Myriad Alliance can amplify global impact in the most meaningful ways. Our latest initiative in partnership with the #AlmaNuns and Myriad USA has not only brought together diverse stakeholders but has also caught the attention of the Vatican News! The impact of our collective efforts has resonated all the way to #PopeFrancis, who has recognised the transformative power of our #FriendsFund partners. This is a testament to what can be achieved when we leverage global networks and work together towards a common goal. The ripple effect of these efforts is truly inspiring, and it reaffirms our belief in the power of collaboration in making a real difference in the world. https://lnkd.in/gUK5TZPN James Hains Anita Toy Paulie Stewart Colm Flynn EWTN Philanthropy Australia Ly Tran Alexie Mercado Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) Michael Rowland #Philanthropy #GlobalImpact #Collaboration #MyriadAlliance #Leadership #PopeFrancis #SocialGood #TimorLeste #MyriadFriendsFund

🌏 It’s an incredible honour to represent Wesley Research Institute at the Philanthropy for Better Cities Forum in Hong Kong, a pivotal moment in building cross-border philanthropy between Australia and Asia. Convened by The Hong Kong Jockey Club, among the many amazing speakers in the line-up, I’m excited about the opening keynote by The Hon. Julia Gillard AC, which will explore the evolving landscape of global giving. As we maximise impact in an increasingly connected world, I’m eager to engage and connect with global leaders, bring back ideas that align with our work at Wesley Research Institute, and meet new connections. I have a few meetings scheduled around the conference period and invite others from the LinkedIn community heading to the West Kowloon Cultural District next month to connect in person and share our stories and experiences. I must acknowledge the fantastic Anita Toy for her invaluable support and insights on cross-border giving 😊 as we seek to establish a Friends Fund at Give2Asia Hong Kong—SAR.
