Introduction
The opening paragraphs set the scene for your proposal based on the discovery session you
held previously. Use words like you, yours and we to address the prospective client directly and
establish a relationship. For example:
We’re delighted you’ve asked us to show you how we can help grow your audience and
acquire more leads with our social media marketing services.
This proposal outlines precisely how we can use our proven skills and strategies to deliver
effective, growth-driven results for your business. In this document, you will find:
1. Your requirements and goals for the brand’s social media presence.
2. Short audit of the current social media following for [Client Brand Name]*.
3. The proposal on how we can work together along with the next steps and pricing.
*Use the "Find & Replace" function to replace [Client Brand Name] with your client’s name.
Or, you can go more granular than that and offer a few SMART goals. For example, if the
prospective client indicated they wanted to grow their audience on social, you could say:
● Increase the number of Instagram followers in the age range 35-45 by 20% over the
next six months.
This will help guide your strategy and create the correct package for your clients.

Core offering
We’ll be responsible for creating and populating your social media content calendar, creating
images, taking bespoke photographs, creating videos, writing captions, and curating industry-
related content.
If a content approval process is required, then outline the steps here. For example:
We’ve selected Facebook and Instagram as your key social media networks as we believe they
match your target audience profile.
We’ll post X times per week to Instagram, using different types of content – including
image+caption, video, and Stories – to build brand awareness and establish authority on your
account.
🔎 Brand monitoring & hashtags
Advise which brand keywords and hashtags you will be tracking, and how you plan to respond.
For example:
Based on our research, we’ll monitor for and respond to these brand hashtags on a daily basis
to maintain brand integrity: #1, #2, #3.
Each day, we’ll monitor your social accounts and respond to comments. We’ll also share
content from users in your community.
We’ll create promotional campaigns for your products and/or services as well as keep tabs
open for opportunities to increase engagement when celebrating trending events.
Each month, we’ll send a performance report to stakeholders that details progress on agreed
KPIs. This will not only track our progress of achieving the agreed goal(s) but also inform our
strategy for the coming months.
Tip: Feel free to add a visual representation of the report if you have one to build expectations
and excite your clients.
When we started working with ABC Company, they had 300 followers on Instagram. Over the
next six months, we were able to increase that number to 1500 by posting regular content,
replying to comments, and sharing user-generated content.
Tip: You can add an image from one of your case studies or a link to a video.
