Another great session this week with @Adam Tobias on ED& I We’ve all seen and read posts that state diverse teams improve performance, but it was good to be able to discuss the data. Adam shared numerous reports and data from well-respected global organisations that measured performance of businesses with greater diversity, versus those without. The numbers he shared speak for themselves: ☑ 87% of organisations made better decisions (Gartner) ☑ 75% are better at problem solving (HRB) ☑ 45% generated higher innovation revenue (BCG) Inclusive recruitment plays a huge role in increasing the diversity of your workforce. I was reading about a report from Eploy whose 2024 UK Candidate Attraction Report showed 34% of employers said recruiting diverse employees is a major challenge, second only to a scarcity of qualified candidates with the right skills or experience. It is so important for employers to realise that the key to attracting diverse candidates is to start from within by creating the conditions for diverse employees to thrive.
