Health Systems Training, Harris Manchester College, Oxford I had the privilege of participating in the Oxford Academy 2024 training on "Managing Innovation: Financing Health Systems and Digital Health" training for World Health Leaders. The course held at the magnificent Harris Manchester College , University of Oxford , included participants from Africa for the first time. The conference was a rich learning experience, with discussions centered around topics like sustainable finance for healthcare systems, and alternative funding models with case studies from Singapore and the Netherlands. One of the highlights was participating in a role-playing exercise as a member of an HTA(Health Technology Assessment)decision committee, which gave me a firsthand understanding of the complexities involved in making informed decisions about new technologies. Additionally, learning about the progress and challenges of integrated care in England and the innovative e-health solutions implemented in Estonia provided valuable insights into how we might address similar issues back home. Beyond the academic content, I had the opportunity to connect with brilliant minds from around the world, pushing the boundaries in healthcare, sharing experiences, forging new partnerships, and making new friends; all in a calm and aesthetic environment. I'm excited to bring back the knowledge and insights gained to my work in the cancer space and to strengthen our systems. Thank you to the organizers, and the Roche Africa team for including us in this experience, guiding me through all the stages, and being a part of our success story.
