Health and Human Services
A professional organization that aims to advance professional & ethical standards in health service management
About us
HKCHSE aims to promote excellence in health care services in Hong Kong through the advancement of professional & ethical standards in health service management. We have attracted a wide spectrum of professionals in healthcare (both public & private hospitals) & also related fields, mostly at middle & upper management levels, as its members. Currently we have about 230 members in Hong Kong & Macao. HKCHSE organizes seminars and an annual conference on various healthcare management and leadership topics, as well as visits to hospitals & companies in Hong Kong, mainland China and overseas. Since 2003, every year HKCHSE organizes a Hong Kong-based Dual Fellowship program (Sept – June). The program trains candidates from various healthcare disciplines every year, who are at middle management levels. After passing viva exam, they would be accepted as Fellows of both HKCHSE and the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM). Throughout the years, we are honored to have prominent guest speakers to share insights on various aspects of Hong Kong's healthcare system with our program candidates.

Around 30 of our College members had the pleasure to visit Ventria Residence, the newest continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Hong Kong, followed by a social dim sum lunch this past Saturday. Greatly appreciate the sharing by CEO Mr Joe Sham, and also the help of his colleagues (including Wai Ming Tam & Christy Wong) who guided us in the tour. It's a pleasant surprise to find that we are the 1st group of visitors to visit Ventria Residence. Located in Happy Valley, and just a short walk to the vibrant neighborhood of Causeway Bay, it provides different residential units catered for people that have needs for memory care, assisted living, & independent living, which are supported by individualized care plans and an interprofessional care team on-site. We are so honored & enjoyed the visit a lot! 🙏🏻 Hong Kong College of Health Service Executives (HKCHSE) 香港醫務行政學院 Ventria Residence Limited

Some of our new Fellows who graduated from the HKCHSE Dual Fellowship program just last month will travel to Brisbane this October, for their conferment of Fellowship from ACHSM (our sister organization in Australia) and for attending the health #leadership congress together. It will be a memorable trip for the new Fellows, Council members and friends. What's more, HKCHSE members have a sweet #registration rate at this congress (i.e., AUD 600 fewer than the standard full-congress ticket for non-ACHSM members)! That is a members' #benefit that we hope our members would enjoy. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ *** Like this post & follow this page to get more useful news later. *** Visit the website of Hong Kong College of Health Service Executives (HKCHSE) 香港醫務行政學院 to learn about our members' benefits --- https://lnkd.in/gVuHtsfB *** 2024 Congress webpage of the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM) --- https://lnkd.in/g4_KYQH8
