🌟 Personal news: a new chapter in media and AI 🌟 After more than 6 years at News UK, I’ll be leaving at the end of the year. I’ve loved my time here; it is truly a fantastic company to work for. I’ll be taking a short study break in the new year. I’ve enrolled on the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford programme on Artificial intelligence. I’ve started to see some phenomenally powerful AI tools from mediatech startups this year. The wave of innovation is building quickly and I think it’s going to be game-changing. I want to get myself in a position to be able to confidently navigate the opportunities and threats with a good foundation of knowledge. Once I’m up to speed, my plan is to continue to help legacy businesses with digital transformation, by embracing AI safely and practically, using its tools to diversify revenue streams, drive efficiencies and remain competitive in a rapidly evolving landscape. Being honest....this change is a bit daunting….. wish me luck! For the first 8 weeks of 2025, I’ll mostly have my head buried in books and doing bits and bobs of consultancy. After that I look forward to getting back helping businesses with digital transformation, with a focus on AI tools. I want to say a big thank you to News UK for a brilliant six years. I’ve been hugely fortunate to have had three stellar leaders as bosses; David Robinson, Jo Bucci and Ben Walmsley. I’ve also worked closely with loads of talented colleagues: Victoria Sanders Pavlina Theodoulou Lizzie Unsworth, Mehmet Huseyin, Pamela Ferrari, Laura Sweeney, Sabrina Forte, Phil Harman, James Manning-Monro, Owen Griffiths, Louise Crosby, Daniel Petrie, Joe Johnson, Emma Pipe, Karolina Cilenti, Suzanne Rose-Bakewell, Shelley Bishton, Mark Hudson And many others. Thank you all….I learned a lot from you. I’ll be working at News UK until Xmas, so I’ll see many industry colleagues at various Xmas parties in the coming weeks. #DigitalTransformation #ArtificialIntelligence #AI #MediaTech #OxfordUniversity #LifelongLearning
