The workshops at Higgs Centre for Innovation in Edinburgh were great. We worked on Business Development and using AI to support the tricky business of this when you are just starting or even for more experienced folks. One item we discussed is as tech founder or startup founder you must learn to be quiet and ask questions. Learns something! Many potential clients are really good at making you feel good, important and interesting. So, you talk more and more and you leave happy. They loved me! They loved my widget! Did you learn anything from the customer? People can be really skilled at making founders feel warm and wanted and keep them talking.
