Excited to share the incredible journey and insights gained during my recent three-month digital media marketing internship at Chouchou Media 🚀 As part of my role, I managed various social media platforms and utilized Canva and Hootsuite for content creation, scheduling, and analytics. I've also contributed to Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) strategy planning and execution, focusing on branding, social media marketing, influencer marketing, and email marketing. This work has played an important role in enhancing the branding of Australian dining brands for Chinese consumers. Additionally, I’m proud to have supported clients Vela and Limay with their Red account establishment. Notable achievements include Vela receiving over 300 profile visits and over 5k reads, while Limay saw over 3k reads and a remarkable 600% increase in conversion rate within just one month. Here are some key insights I would like to share: 💡A significant takeaway was understanding the concept of H2H (human-to-human) marketing. I strongly feel that every product and service embodies invisible wisdom and emotion. The most fascinating aspect of marketing is identifying genuine consumer needs while building emotional connections between brands and consumers—something irreplaceable by AI and technology. 📸 Challenges Creating social media content posed a significant challenge, especially in visual marketing. I noticed that despite the high quality of the images posted, the engagement rates fell short of expectations. After searching for the reason online, I found out that consumers are increasingly valuing authenticity. When visuals are overly polished, they can come across as inauthentic, potentially leading to diminished trust from users. 💪 Fitness Industry Exposure In addition to expanding my knowledge in restaurant branding, I also had the opportunity to explore marketing within the fitness industry. Working on brand building for Coach Sam Sung allowed me to go from having no prior knowledge of fitness to discovering a genuine passion for it and adopting an active and healthier lifestyle. In summary, this internship has been an invaluable experience, allowing me to apply my marketing communication knowledge in practice, interact with real clients, and refine marketing strategies based on real-time feedback. I am deeply grateful for the regular meetings and training sessions, which enriched my learning with insights from professional marketers. This opportunity has not only deepened my passion for marketing but also, despite still being in the learning phase, has equipped me with practical skills and valuable experiences that will lay a solid foundation for my future career in the marketing industry. #branding #digitalmarketing #socialmediamarketing #IMC #H2H #marketingcommunications

I am pleased to share that I have successfully completed a transformative two-month internship at Kayser Trading 💼 ✔️ , a leading online retailer specializing in cosmetic, natural, and parapharmaceutical products, known on social media as Azeta Beauty. With a catalog that spans over 75 diverse brands and offers more than 1080 articles, Kayser Trading has earned the trust of a rapidly growing customer base, now surpassing 7,000 clients and fulfilling over 12,000 orders to date. During my internship, I was immersed in a vibrant and innovative marketing department, where creativity was not just encouraged but essential in crafting a distinct brand identity that stands out in a competitive market. My role was deeply rooted in digital marketing, where I spearheaded initiatives to enhance our online visibility through Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM). By employing targeted strategies, I significantly boosted our search engine rankings, driving substantial organic traffic to our website and increasing brand visibility across key digital platforms. 📈 In parallel, I took charge of managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and marketing automation efforts using sophisticated tools such as Hubspot and Brevo. These platforms allowed me to implement highly personalized marketing campaigns, effectively segmenting our audience and delivering tailored content that resonated with our customers. This approach not only optimized our marketing processes but also elevated the customer experience, fostering stronger and more meaningful relationships with our audience. 🤝 A significant portion of my work involved creative design, where I was responsible for producing visually compelling marketing posters and audiovisual content. By integrating AI-driven tools, I enhanced the aesthetic appeal and strategic impact of these materials, ensuring they aligned with our brand’s ethos and captivated our target demographic. ✏️ In the sphere of social media, my efforts were particularly focused also on Meta platforms like content creation, and engagement analysis. My contributions were instrumental in reinforcing Kayser Trading ’s digital presence, fostering a vibrant online community, and driving engagement across various social media channels. Beyond my core responsibilities, I had the invaluable opportunity to gain insights into other departmental functions, which enriched my understanding of the business as a whole. This cross-functional exposure not only broadened my perspective and sharpened my technical expertise but also underscored the importance of collaboration teamwork, and adaptability in achieving collective success. ⭐ #internship #marketing #SEO #SEM #digital_marketing

LOOKING FOR A SOMEONE TO START A CONTENT AGENCY WITH 😳 So, long story short, I’m creating a content agency (hopefully). What’s special about it? Well, I’ve been lucky to be able to collaborate with the internship agency I went through when I came to Ireland last year. So, right off the bat, I have a fresh flow of young creatives to ensure we put out the trendiest content.* *(interns to be provided if I get the company up and running) What’s the business? Companies pay to collaborate with us. So instead of paying an agency thousands to get you a social media campaign that gets barely any organic social engagement - we flip that upside down - we put out simply made content with the most organic feel - because all you need to go viral is a phone and the right environment. This concept stemmed from my experience as an intern and full-time marketing employee. It’s the experience I would have dreamed of having. And on top of all of that, it’s the most practical marketing approach, in my opinion. A big thank you to David Lloyd who has been open to providing support from his internship agency and has encouraged me to push through with the concept. Also, I’d be appreciative of responses from anyone. So please pop me a message if you’re curious!

As I walked into the vibrant office of Steadfast Nutrition Nutrition, I could feel a sense of excitement mixed with nerves. Today marked the start of my journey as an SEO executive, and I was eager to dive in. The walls, adorned with inspiring quotes and images of healthy lifestyles, immediately energized me. Reflecting on my six-month internship at a small digital marketing firm, I recalled the initial uncertainty I faced. That environment had been intense, with tight deadlines and high expectations. I learned a lot about SEO, content marketing, and analytics, often putting in extra hours just to keep up. Although I developed a strong skill set, the competitive atmosphere sometimes felt overwhelming. At Steadfast Nutrition, everything felt different. The energy here was uplifting, and I could sense a genuine camaraderie among my colleagues. During my first team meeting, I was welcomed warmly. My manager encouraged everyone to share ideas, fostering a culture of collaboration rather than competition. This was refreshing—I felt valued right from the start. As I settled into my role, I started applying the skills I had honed during my internship. The projects were ambitious, and I felt confident tackling them. I worked closely with the content and design teams, diving into keyword research and optimizing content to align with our mission of promoting a healthy lifestyle. Looking ahead, I am excited about the challenges to come. With a solid foundation and a nurturing environment, I am ready to thrive at Steadfast Nutrition, confident that I’m on the right path to making a real impact. . . #newjourney #steadfastnutrition #SeoExecutive #digitalmarketing

This summer, I had the chance to intern at Tom, Dick & Harry Creative Co. in the strategy department, working directly with Chief Strategy Officer Jason Donahue. I went into this internship wanting to dig deeper into brand strategy and account planning, and I’m leaving with more clarity and passion for this field than I ever expected. From June to August 2024, I jumped into a variety of projects—everything from helping develop brand blueprints and writing creative briefs to conducting social listening research for clients and potential new business. One of the highlights was helping out with some of the final stages of TDH's new brand positioning, and an acronym for CRAFT. It was incredible to be part of something that felt so integral to the agency's future. One of the biggest challenges I faced was becoming proficient with Meltwater, a social listening tool I hadn’t used before. After diving into YouTube tutorials and even getting creative with AI to perfect my searches, I eventually cracked the code—literally, as these resources helped me perfect the code used to conduct advanced searches on Meltwater. This experience not only sharpened my research skills but also showed me the power of resourcefulness and creative problem solving in strategy work. Not to mention, I was thrilled when the research I conducted contributed to helping us win a new business account! Another memorable project was developing a deck that unpacked key findings from the One Show 2024 Insights Report, focusing on Craft and Purpose—two important focuses at TDH. Sharing these insights with the agency was such a rewarding experience! Jason's advice to "fail faster" really stuck with me. It’s a reminder that testing ideas and assumptions early—whether they work out or not—is key to learning and growing in this field. This mindset shaped how I approached every task during my time at TDH. I’m incredibly grateful to Colin MacGregor, our internship coordinator, for his support throughout this journey. I'd also like to give thanks once again to Jason Donahue for being such a supportive figure and mentor throughout this internship, and for teaching me the ropes of strategy/brand planning. Also, huge shoutout to my fellow interns, Victoria Wesloh, Nora Cunnea, and Walker Johnson—I couldn’t have asked for better, more talented people to collaborate with. 😊 As I wrap up this chapter, I’m more convinced than ever that strategy is where I belong. I’m looking to connect with other strategists and am actively seeking entry-level roles in brand strategy, social strategy, or account planning. This internship has given me a strong foundation, and I can’t wait to build on it. Thank you, Jason, Colin, and the entire TDH team, for an unforgettable summer. I’m excited for what’s next! 🎉
