To bring their vision to life, Britannia Industries Limited partnered with Youngun , a creative agency famed for its expertise in meme marketing and its knack for tapping into internet culture. Together, they devised a campaign that would not only promote their new product but also create a buzz that would resonate far and wide. Their solution? Successful candidates then moved on to the next stage, where they had to post an Instagram reel or post explaining why they deserved the internship, tagged with #BritanniaTreatCroissantInternship. 💁♀️ Humorous Skill Requirements: The internship requirements were designed to poke fun at common grammar corrections, such as “Gets excited when people use they’re, there, and their correctly.” This added a layer of humor that made the campaign even more engaging. As the campaign unfolded, the results were nothing short of extraordinary: 💁♀️ Engagement: The internship contest attracted 90,000 participants through WhatsApp. 💁♀️ Media Coverage: Earned Media and Organic PR worth Rs 1 Crore. 💁♀️ Social Media Reach: The campaign reached over 10 million users. 💁♀️ Follower Growth: Britannia’s social media following grew by 25,000. 💁♀️ User Interaction: The campaign generated close to 50,000 comments on Instagram. In the end, the "Croissant Pronunciation Expert" campaign did more than just promote a product. It changed the narrative around croissants, making them accessible and appealing to a broader audience. By leveraging the creativity and reach of influencers, BRITANIA FOODS LTD successfully turned a simple idea into a viral sensation, proving that with the right strategy.

A second-year 19 year old student, eager to enlighten herself with the bright rays of the outside world, it was today's date back in 2023 when I joined White Rivers Media- my first ever workplace experience! It wasn't like I hadn't work before, but it was all beneath the chambers of COVID-19 and it's online alternatives. In real, it's different. Much different. Never had the moment to write about it then, so I'll make the most out of it, now. An agency culture was much distinct than the conventional work life my parents have been describing and that is exactly when I realised our worlds are different and that I have so much more to look forward to, so much more to achieve. It shouted YOUTH! OPPORTUNITY! and THE FUTURE! I joined as a Copywriter Intern and it completely altered my beginner definitions of copywriting. Throughout the course of time, my comprehension about agency structure and client behaviour was significantly enriched. I got a chance to meet amazing people who not only inspired me but were also super keen to aid with my growth in the long run. Well, ofcourse, not all of it was dreamy. I remember working as long as 10-11 hours fidgeting over a little copy. Spending hours, and even a day or two with a huge creative block shadowing a mere brief. We see and hear about it all the time. An organization wants to grow its reach on social media and is thinking about hiring an intern who will be able to get things going across every possible platform in a few short weeks. If you're serious about social media, it's not a job for the intern. Large brands have entire departments dedicated to social media and the interplay with other digital content. Smaller organizations can still tap into many of the same benefits, but it requires an intentional investment. This starts with organic content, or what you post to your channels without a paid push. It has to be planned and consistent. Often, an intern requires approval that can limit the outbound flow of content. Similarly, if an internal staff member has social content added onto their duties, it can be overwhelming.
