With a catalog that spans over 75 diverse brands and offers more than 1080 articles, Kayser Trading has earned the trust of a rapidly growing customer base, now surpassing 7,000 clients and fulfilling over 12,000 orders to date. During my internship, I was immersed in a vibrant and innovative marketing department, where creativity was not just encouraged but essential in crafting a distinct brand identity that stands out in a competitive market. My role was deeply rooted in digital marketing, where I spearheaded initiatives to enhance our online visibility through Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM). By employing targeted strategies, I significantly boosted our search engine rankings, driving substantial organic traffic to our website and increasing brand visibility across key digital platforms. 📈 In parallel, I took charge of managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and marketing automation efforts using sophisticated tools such as Hubspot and Brevo. 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐅𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐒 🐟🐡🐡 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 The communication industry is incredibly vast, and for someone like me who has always been drawn to creative expression, it initially felt overwhelming. There are so many areas to explore—𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨, 𝙖𝙙𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙢, and beyond. Figuring out where I fit in this dynamic space has been both challenging and rewarding. In my second year of uni, I was captivated by advertising. Naturally, I focused much of my energy on building skills and knowledge in this area. Over the years, I had the opportunity to intern with companies where I worked on advertising-focused projects. These internships were incredible learning experiences—they helped me sharpen my creative thinking, understand campaign strategy, and gain hands-on experience in the industry. However, I realized something important along the way: advertising is just one piece of the puzzle. As I gained broader industry exposure, my perspective shifted. I started seeing the bigger picture—how advertising fits into the overarching framework of marketing. Marketing, with its ability to blend strategy, analytics, creativity, and consumer insights, began to resonate with me on a much deeper level. That’s when I became certain: my career path lies in marketing. While my background in advertising has been invaluable, I see it as a stepping stone toward a larger goal. The journey hasn’t been linear, and there have been moments of doubt. But every challenge has reinforced my passion for marketing and my desire to grow within this field. I’m eager to embrace more learning opportunities, collaborate with creative minds, and contribute to impactful campaigns that connect brands with their audiences. Ultimately, I’m working toward landing my first role as a marketing coordinator. I’m excited to apply the knowledge I’ve gained, and I look forward to growing both personally and professionally in this space. From my first day at Global Colliance to my current role, my internship journey in digital marketing has been enlightening and transformative. Entering this field felt like stepping into a new world. I learned about using AI as an ally, collaborating with seniors and teammates, and convincing people. It’s tempting to pass work to others, but I’ve realized that solving problems independently is crucial for achieving larger goals. Here’s a glimpse into my journey and the key lessons I’ve learned during my internship at Global Colliance: 1. Meta Ads: Understanding meta advertising has been a game-changer. I’ve learned to create targeted campaigns that drive engagement and conversions, which are essential for any online business. 2. Digital Marketing Strategies: My knowledge of digital strategies, from SEO to email marketing, has grown. This helps me craft marketing plans that deliver measurable results. 3. Content Writing: Writing compelling content is an art. Through practice, I’ve improved my skills in creating blogs, articles, and social media posts that resonate with audiences. 4. Reel Making: Visual content is powerful. Learning to create engaging reels has added a dynamic element to my marketing toolkit. 5. Customer Engagement: Convincing customers requires empathy and strategic communication. My interactions with clients taught me the importance of understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. 6. Collaborative Learning: Working with my mentors and colleagues has been invaluable. Their insights and feedback have greatly contributed to my professional growth. This journey has been a mix of challenges and achievements.
