If you are interested, please send your resume and cover letter to [email protected] by March 29. Hope to hear from you soon! Vacancy: Marketing Intern at FoodJungle in Barcelona About us: We are FoodJungle! We love good food, nice wines, and surprising concepts. This ranges from very simple to more sophisticated. Barcelona knows countless restaurants, but it can be challenging to find the right ones. Besides, there are so many more specialties and cuisines to be found here than people may think. That’s why we started the Instagram account FoodJungle_BCN in July 2023 to help you out during this food safari. Our recommended spots are accessible that both locals and visitors of Barcelona love to go to. To give the fairest (but not too long) impression, we always rate four topics: food, service, ambiance, and price range. We now have 6000 followers on Instagram, with an engagement rate of 7.5%, and are lucky enough to have worked with many fantastic concepts in Barcelona. We are also active on TikTok, regularly posting reels and content. Additionally, we have released a food guide featuring over 150 restaurants categorized by neighborhood, food tours, a bucket list, and a mini Spanish course. Editing reels is not a problem for you. - Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Proficiency in photography and Canva skills is a plus. What we offer you: - Plenty of delicious (free) meals at the newest food spots in Barcelona. - A stimulating and supportive work environment. - Good and structured supervision. - Growth on both a personal and professional level. - Opportunities to gain hands-on experience and develop your professional skills. - Opportunity for flexible working hours and/or part-time internship.

I’m applying for social media internships so I can try out a great branding tip I learned: ...Leveraging seasonal social media adaptations to strategically enhance a brand's visual identity. During the holidays, marketers can creatively alter their brand's standard visual styling. Though maintaining a cohesive visual brand is the goal, you can seamlessly bring the holiday spirit into your posts. #visualbranding #holidaymarketing #socialmediatips

What I Learned During My Harper’s Bazaar Arabia Internship — My First Step Towards a Career in Writing After a 6-month IT internship, I realized that passion mattered more than just having a job. While I wasn’t sure what my next step would be, I knew I didn’t want to settle for a career I didn’t love. It was during this time that the influencer market was booming, and I found myself drawn to the digital space. One of the people who inspired me was Milli Midwood, Digital Editor at Harper's Bazaar Arabia. So, I did what any curious person would do—I slid into her DMs. To my surprise, that bold move got me an interview for an internship. Lesson 1: Take the Chance Sometimes, all you need is a little courage to send that message or make that call. The worst thing that can happen? They say "no." The best? You land an opportunity that changes everything. (Spoiler alert: they didn’t say no!) Lesson 2: Be Yourself The fashion industry can feel a bit like an exclusive club. Everyone around you looks effortlessly stylish, and there’s that nagging thought that maybe you don’t quite fit in. But here’s the trick: you don’t have to. Wear what feels right, be yourself, and let your work speak for you—whether you're rocking thrift store finds or the latest designer pieces. Lesson 3: Confidence in Your Decisions (And if You Make a Mistake, You Can Always Edit!) As an intern, I used to ask a lot of questions because I was terrified of making mistakes. I once overheard a senior getting annoyed with my constant inquiries, and let’s just say my younger self didn’t take it well. Looking back, I now realize: yes, mistakes will happen, but that’s part of the learning process. And the beauty of digital content? If you make a mistake, there's always the edit button! Don’t let the fear of getting it wrong stop you from doing great work. Lesson 4: Create with Purpose At Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, I learned that great content isn’t just about meeting deadlines—it's about asking, "Would I enjoy reading this?" Always think about how you can add value and push creative boundaries. Propose new ideas, bring fresh angles, and most importantly, enjoy the process. This internship didn’t just launch my writing career—it taught me to take risks, embrace my unique voice, and trust that every mistake is just an opportunity to edit and improve. Day 5 of 100

🎨 Thumbnail Design : Hotel Internship in India V/S Hotel Internship Abroad 🌍 I recently had the opportunity to work with Vivek Aswal to create a thumbnail for his video titled "Hotel Internship in India vs Hotel Internship Abroad: Which is Better?". 👨🏻🍳 🤔 When Vivek gave me the concept, I thought deeply about how to visually present this comparison. My goal was to ensure the audience could immediately understand the stark differences between these two scenarios. 🎯 I Decided To Portray: 1) An Indian chef, shown in a more somber, less ideal work environment, looking quite stressed and unhappy. 2) On the other side, a chef working abroad in a vibrant, golden kitchen, full of optimism, success, and growth. 👉 As a designer, I believe that storytelling through visuals is key to boosting engagement. A strong thumbnail can make all the difference in getting viewers to click and stay interested! 🤔"How can I improve this to make it more clickable? I'd love to hear your suggestions for rewriting it in a fresh and impactful way." . . Looking For a Thumbnail Designer? From French Boulangeries to Marketing Strategies 🥐💜 Did you know that even a trip to the bakery can teach you about branding? One of my favorite parts of living in France is visiting local boulangeries. Each one has its own personality: 🌾 Some focus on tradition with rustic interiors and time-honored recipes. ✨ Others embrace modern twists with creative flavors and contemporary designs. Every detail—from the decor to the croissants—tells a story. It’s a reminder that great marketing is about more than just products. It’s about creating an experience that leaves a lasting impression. In my double degree program 🎓, I’m learning how brands can craft these unique “flavors” for their audiences—whether online or in person. It’s all about: 💜 Standing out 💜 Staying authentic This is a lesson I see every day, both in the classroom and while strolling through the streets of 🇨🇵. 👉Now, I’m curious: What’s a unique place or moment that’s inspired your career? Let’s share stories! Also, I’m currently looking for a marketing internship where I can bring this creativity and insight to life. If you have opportunities or advice, let’s connect 💬!

Here are 3 ways I got internships as a student, without ever submitting a traditional application. Fashion Photoshoot Assistant: Whilst studying fashion at university, I was very keen to experience working in a fashion-based business. I spent a day researching smaller fashion businesses local to me, and crafting cold outreach emails to my favourites, explaining who I was, what I could offer and why I specifically liked their brand. One replied the same day, I interviewed the following week and was able to join them for a few photoshoots and office days before Covid hit. Content Writer & Creator: After deciding to build my content creation knowledge, I attended a local writing workshop. When the session finished, I decided to speak with the host, who subsequently asked me to write some trial blogs for their website. This then led to creating social media content for a month, giving me published work for my portfolio. Social Media Work Experience: During university, we regularly had guest speakers from different businesses do a one-off lecture or panel for our class. One of these guest lecturers worked for a marketing agency, so I took the initiative after the lecture to approach them and ask if there was any availability for me to shadow in their offices. After a short interview, I ended up joining the team in a part-time role to support their social media throughout half of my second year. What do I want you to take from this? Well, consider what these three things have in common... talking to people! People = opportunities, and often if you don't ask, you don't get. In my experience, lots of smaller businesses are more than happy to give you short bursts of experience (or could use an extra pair of hands), but they often don't advertise this anywhere. Now, I want you to comment one of two things... 1. If you're yet to find work experience or internships, what information/advice would be useful to you? What do you want to know? OR 2. If you've also secured opportunities outside of traditional application processes, what's your story? How did you do it? What advice do you have to give? Let's share ideas!
