What an incredible party in New York as we celebrated the first-ever Saxbys Experiential Learning cafe in the Empire State with Marist College! Located in the center of the gorgeous new Dyson Center, our impressive Inaugural Student CEO Mabel Aronson built a team of 45 of her peers ready to serve their community and hone their education through this unparalleled learning experience.  The entire Marist leadership team was incredibly supportive in welcoming Saxbys to campus, but special thanks to President Kevin Weinman, Dean Will Lamb and Director of Experiential Learning Heather Hallenbeck, as well as Michael Frungillo and his team at Gourmet Dining LLC for providing this tremendous leadership opportunity to generations of Marist students.

The first student-run Saxbys in New York State is here!🎉☕️ Yesterday, Sept. 24, we celebrated the grand opening of the #Saxbys cafe in the new Dyson Center on campus. Led by the inaugural student CEO Mabel Aronson '25 and operated entirely by Marist students, this unique partnership will allow our entire community to experience hands-on learning at its most immersive. Thanks to Gourmet Dining LLC and everyone who brought this celebration to life!

Opening Announcement! We're thrilled to announce Zaro's Family Bakery opened our first college campus location at Drew University! For nearly a century, Zaro's has been a staple in New York, bringing joy through our delicious baked goods, from fresh bagels and breads to iconic Black & Whites and more. Now, we are proud to bring this tradition of quality and family heritage to the Drew University community. The Gourmet Dining LLC team on the Long Island University Post campus is really raising the bar! I had the opportunity to support Shawn Morgenroth and his team with an action packed day. We gave the #Sharks a sneak peak of their Pub, as well as the first event in their #TeachingKitchen with Chef Mehta and the girls field hockey team, and we threw in a pajama party with a decorate your own cookie offering! All in a days work for us!
