Ready to welcome a group of people to share their thoughts and opinions on today's topic. Offering them a homey atmosphere, a warm drink, and a tasty sandwich. Meanwhile, our client is tucked away behind the mirror, eagerly listening to every word shared about their brand. Our focus groups aren't just random chatter; we do photo sorts, draw with colorful markers, and stimulate innovative thinking with projective techniques. It is fun (at least for me), engaging, and sometimes a bit challenging – especially when you have that one dominant personality who insists their opinion is the ultimate truth 😉. #ipsosbelgium #marketresearch #qualitativeresearch

1. Stop the Scroll! 🚀 Break the Pattern: Capture attention with bold headlines and surprising statements. Challenge conventional wisdom and spark curiosity. For instance, instead of “Improve Your Health,” try “Why Everything You Know About Health is Wrong.” 2. Ditch the Jargon! 💡 **Speak Human:** Skip the industry lingo and speak directly to your audience. Use simple, relatable language that resonates. Imagine you’re explaining your idea to a friend over coffee, not a conference room. 3. Paint Vivid Pictures! 🎨 **Make It Pop:** Create visual imagery with your words. Instead of saying “comfortable bed,” say “a cloud-like mattress that wraps you in pure relaxation.” Make readers feel, see, and experience what you’re describing. 4. Stir the Emotions! ❤️ Feel the Feels: Engage your audience emotionally. Use storytelling to evoke empathy, excitement, or even a little bit of fear. People remember how you made them feel long after they forget what you said. 5. Demand Action: ⚡ Be Unforgettable: Craft irresistible calls to action. Instead of a bland “Buy Now,” try “Unlock Your Exclusive Deal Today—Before It’s Gone Forever!” Make it urgent, compelling, and clear what’s in it for them.

𝐃𝐨 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲? In a world where everyone’s selling vanilla, it’s the unique flavors that stand out. Clarity isn’t just about knowing what you do. It’s the beacon that guides your audience through the fog of options. You might think that because your post bombed, it’s because you suck. But what’s the real reason? There are many factors. But mainly, it’s because you failed to communicate your ideas in a way that resonates with the reader. Your storytelling, vocabulary, grammar, personality, and wit all remain intact in everything you write. Whether you get 2 likes or 200. But your hook, target audience, and key message must be adapted to match the circumstances. You can sizzle the best prime rib steak at the barbecue, but if everyone there is vegan, you’ll get no bites (true story 😅). And it’s building that intuition through trial and error that leads to more engagement. So don’t get discouraged if your magnum opus falls on deaf ears (it’s probably too beautiful for the disgusting world of commerce). Instead, study what makes the crowd listen. — PS: Vibe with this? People, by default, DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. Or your product… Or your service… Or your corgie-mix dressed as a dragon. (ok that one is pretty great, but the point stands) How do you get people to stop? To care? To stop the endless scroll? GIVE THEM SNACKS. Short, snacky content. One of the best ways to do this is with potent quotes. Quotes provide a human angle to your story, making it more relatable. Quotes dive your audience IMMEDIATELY into the story. You have to answer a hidden question: WHY SHOULD I CARE? Contextualize your story. Explain WHY your announcement is relevant at this moment. Relate it to current market trends or social media topics for added interest. Trend-jack. Address an issue and how you're solving it. Emotionally Resonant: Don't shy away from showing genuine emotions in your quotes, either. Authenticity CONNECTS with readers. Openness invites trust. A touch of humor or a punchy statement can make your quote stand out. As always, BE ANYTHING BUT BORING.

The heart of market research is empathy. As Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird said, 'You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it.' Empathize with your customers to truly understand their needs and create solutions that resonate. #motivation #marketresearch #iersolutions

Yesterday, I was working through business strategy and negotiation tactics with a client, and in reflecting back to them, it just became clear that the real question we needed to dig into is: What is your WHY? I love Simon Sinek - I mean it’s so simple yet mind blowing. It is also getting into the ultimate WHY with our companies, our leadership, our families (yikes) and even ourselves *shhhh - don’t say that**, with support and accountability. It’s the old adage, you can’t see the picture when you’re inside the frame… Especially if the frame is smudged and old and the picture was printed at the local drug store off a disposal camera (ahem, vintage)… This is why I think the work we are doing at Glowe Connective is SO powerful. We can clean the frame and redevelop the picture so it’s crystal clear and in focus. And I just love it! I could not pass up an opportunity to be a part of it, why would you? Does this resonate with you? Is your team Glowe-ing? Are YOU? Keep up with what Glowe Connective is up to! Follow along, sign up for the newsletter www.gloweconnective.com. Call me:) Would you look at that sky just showing off!?! #thepowerofwhy #accoutability #gloweconnective

Market research is about listening deeply and responding thoughtfully. As Ernest Hemingway noted, 'When people talk, listen completely. Most people never listen.' Truly listen to your customers and their needs, and let their voices guide your research and strategies. #marketresearch #onlinesurvey #iersolutions

𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁; Likes don’t always mean love... 💔 Vanity metrics can trick you into thinking a post is doing well, but are they converting? 🤔 👀 Here’s what matters: 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲: Are people commenting, sharing, saving? 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲 (𝗖𝗧𝗥): Did they like it… or did they do something with it? 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲: Are likes turning into leads or sales? It’s like reading a book by its cover, you must look deeper. So next time a post blows up, don’t celebrate just yet. 🫣 What metrics do you focus on? Let’s discuss it!

"She's a bit like Mary Poppins but without the sugar" ☂ I think that's a compliment? 🤔 Isn't it??? 😯 This lovely little comment is one of about 8 bazillion soundbites that have emerged from having 3 client case studies created by the lovely Lucy Jackman at Comma Sense. I'm taking it to mean that I'm incredibly wise & resourceful, always supportive and encouraging, but a bit of a bossy boots when needed! 😂 Lucy interviewed 3 of my long-standing clients and then turned their conversations into some fabulous testimonials for me. And it's fair to say that my clients have said much better things about me than I'd ever have the nerve to say myself. Because, let's be honest, bigging yourself up is cringeworthy and seriously hard to get right isn't it? 'Must sound fabulous without sounding like an arse!' 🤦♀️ As well as giving me lots of lovely snippets for my marketing, it's been a great exercise to really get under the skin of how it feels to work with me. And that's super helpful. Have you ever asked clients for this kind of feedback? What kind of things have the said, or do you think they'd say if you asked? #businesscoach #testimonials #clientresults #taylorytips
