✨ ADHD Awareness Month! My personal ADHD Support System✨ Managing ADHD isn’t about finding one solution—it’s about discovering the right mix of tools and strategies that work for you. For me, it has changed over time and continues to changer depending on the season of life that i'm experiencing. I have spent many years deep diving into personal and professional development, which I found very beneficial, but for me today my daily strategies includes - Running - Affirmations and Visualisations - Meditation, and - Medication. Running helps clear my mind and manage stress, while meditation and mindset tools keep me grounded and focused. Medication plays a critical role too, giving me the clarity and focus I need to stay on top of my day-to-day responsibilities. Today, I had the privilege of connecting with incredible individuals from my cohort and delving into strategies that empower us to work with—not against—ADHD brains. For many with ADHD, procrastination is not about “laziness” (though you have probably heard that word too often!). It is often about how ADHD brains are wired: an interest-based nervous system. When something grabs an ADHD brain’s attention, you might hyperfocus, giving it everything you have got—but sometimes to the point of burnout. On the flip side, tasks that don’t spark interest can feel almost impossible to start. Understanding these patterns can be a game-changer.
