PEOPLE can exclusively reveal that the pop star, 25, has made this year’s TIME100 Next list, which honors rising stars of all industries and is featured on one of their three covers. The singer's cover issue, which hits newsstands on Friday, Oct. 4. shows her posing in a bright red, sexy silk bodysuit equipped with an oversized bow while smiling with her hands in the air in front of green grass and blue sky drop. Carpenter, who is currently on the road as part of the Short 'n' Sweet tour, will take time out of her busy schedule to perform at the TIME100 Next event on Wednesday, Oct. 9, in New York City, PEOPLE can exclusively reveal.
