Sabrina Carpenter Announces Netflix Holiday Special: 'This Is Really Gonna Jingle Your Bells'

Sabrina Carpenter is bringing the holiday spirit to Netflix this year!

On Thursday, Sept. 19, the streaming platform revealed that the pop star, 25, is set to star in her very own holiday special, A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter.

"This is really gonna jingle your bells," read the post shared by Carpenter and Netflix on Instagram.

It continued: "A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter — her first-ever holiday special — features unexpected duets and comedic guests you will not want to miss! Mark your calendars for Dec 6 at 9PM ET/ 6 PM PT"

The post featured a clip of snow cascading as a pair of boots with white fur step into the frame. Shortly thereafter, the camera moves up to reveal the "Sharpest Tool" artist in a red sequined bodysuit.

"Expecting someone else?" she asks the camera, as holiday music plays in the background.

According to a press release, the variety show will feature musical guests and Carpenter will perform songs from her 2023 holiday EP fruitcake, as well as a handful of other holiday hits.

The special will also comedic guests, unexpected duets and additional surprises.

“The holidays have always been so special to me,” said the Girl Meets World alum in a statement. “I am excited to bring my take to a classic holiday variety show - infusing my love of music and comedy to make something that is uniquely me.”

News of the holiday special comes just days after Christina Aguilera revealed to Rolling Stone that Carpenter and Machine Gun Kelly will duet with the Burlesque star to celebrate 25 years of her 1999 self-titled debut album as part of the Spotify Anniversaries series.

"I wanted to celebrate the 25th anniversary of my debut album in a way that brings together the past and present," Aguilera told the publication.

Carpenter and the "Genie in a Bottle" hitmaker, 43, teased their upcoming collaboration — which is set to drop on Sept. 23 — in a social media video on Sept. 18, with the former joking that Aguilera is her "mom."

A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter is out Friday, Dec. 6 at 9 p.m. EST.
