Taylor Swift made the whole Caesars Superdome shimmer on the second of her three-night Eras Tour stint in New Orleans on Saturday, Oct. 26 — and she had a special guest to help her!

During the surprise songs portion of the show, Swift, 34, took a phone from the audience and called her friend and former Eras Tour support act, Sabrina Carpenter.

In a video of the moment posted on X (formerly Twitter) Swift sweetly told the crowd they would need to be quiet as she was putting Carpenter "on speakerphone."

Her fellow singer answered and Swift explained she was performing a show on her Eras Tour, before telling Carpenter, 25, she had sung part of her song "Espresso" and the crowd "sang every single word so loud."

"We all love you so much," Swift added. The "Blank Space" singer then asked her friend where she was and said, "why aren't you here with us?"

The singers then discussed that they were both where people were "screaming really loud."

Next, Swift asked Carpenter if she could "come down to the stadium real quick?" adding, "ball park how long would that take you?"

"It would probably take me like five seconds," the "Espresso" singer replied, as the crowd roared their approval.

"OK, see you soon, love you. Bye!" Swift told her friend, before Carpenter then emerged onto the stage in a white dress just a few seconds later.

The two singers then joined forces for a surprise mashup of Carpenter's songs "Espresso," and "Please, Please Please," with Swift's track, "Is It Over Now?" The latter song has a sweet connection to Espresso as it features the lyric, “Let's fast forward to three hundred takeout coffees later."

Carpenter previously supported the Grammy winner as her opening act in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Australia and Singapore, even joining her on stage in Australia in February. The pair duetted together in Sydney for a medley of the songs "White Horse" and "Coney Island", after Carpenter's opening act had to be canceled due to bad weather which delayed the show.

Swift's first show in New Orleans on Friday, Oct. 25, didn't feature Carpenter but was an equally fun affair, with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds appearing in the crowd in cute matching white outfits to watch the show (they also caught the Saturday show, too). The pop superstar also excited fans when she appeared to give a cute nod to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as she mimed throwing a football while performing the outro to "Midnight Rain."

Meanwhile, even venue operators were in the spirit for Swift's arrival at the New Orleans stadium ahead of her first show.

The day before, on Thursday, Oct. 24, the official Instagram account for the New Orleans Saints shared an image of the exterior of the venue with a massive inflatable friendship bracelet draped over the entrance that reads "Taylor Swift" in beads.

“A welcome for Taylor 🫶,” the post's caption noted.
