The singer spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about the status of the musical group composed of herself, Ally Brooke, Normani and Dinah Jane — along with Camila Cabello until she left the band in 2016 — at the Femme It Forward Give Her FlowHers Awards Gala at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Friday, Nov. 8. When asked if she still keeps in touch with the current members of Fifth Harmony, Jauregui, 29, says: "Yeah, I mean, I definitely still have a lot of love for the girls." "The four of us talk here and there. Yeah, Dinah actually just had a show yesterday. I wasn't able to make it. I landed too late last night, but she and Ally were out there last night," she continues. "So yeah, we're definitely still in contact." "Maybe in the future at some point, but not right now," Jauregui says. "I'm definitely focused on myself currently." Fifth Harmony was formed with the help of Simon Cowell after the members first met in 2012 on the second season of the American version of The X Factor. The group wound up placing third and went on to release the singles "Worth It" in 2015 and "Work From Home" in 2016, along with the studio albums Fifth Harmony, Reflection and 7/27. In December 2016, the band announced that Cabello, 27, was leaving to focus on a solo career and they would continue to perform as a quartet instead, according to a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter) at the time.
