Take 2 on Caculation Groups in Power BI - I recently played around with Inforiver Reporting Matrix and wondered how to use the IBCS Theme on Calculation groups. Thanks to Ramya Balasubramanyam I can show you the solution you can use the set version setting to address your Calculation items separately. Small reminder in my Crosstable I am using a Calculation group for the rows as well as for the columns. The setting lets me separately format each column which is a massive thing because I know I can use each calc item as I want it to be displayed. In addition to this, I played around with the Tooltip, and as you can see you can use the Calc Groups for the KPI in the Tooltip getting filtered down to each specific Measure. However here I discovered an issue I was not able to address the selected Calc with DAX code to display the selected item in the header tried different approaches but the result was always not as expected just the name of the Calculation item, if someone has an idea free very invited to share your approach!!! Another forced migration on the cards. 😑 This time for #sap #Analytics #Cloud #SAC. Innovation is always welcome. However, it should be cumulative, or its adoption non-disruptive. If it is not so, the impact becomes non-trivial. In this case, it'll lead to costly migrations. Enterprises - large ones, having orders of magnitude in productive usage - are then hesitant in picking such a technology, or decide to move away from it on such occasions. Which technologies gain? Those that are delivered in an incremental manner and can be adopted effortlessly, both in terms of spend and disruption. I hope there are good tools provided to ease the migration to SAC Optimized Experience. 🙏

When receiving goods into these sub inventories that aren't quantity tracked, the goods are automatically consumed, meaning the on-hand quantity isn't incremented. Prior to this release, when goods were received into a sub inventory that wasn't quantity tracked, you couldn't create a receipt return from that location if you later found that the goods were damaged or no longer required. Now, you have the ability to create a receipt return using a sub inventory that's set up as not quantity tracked.

#ScamAlert: Aditya Goenka, a #FRAUD running an elaborative #SCAM named Be10x I recently attended a Power BI masterclass by Aditya Goenka, offered at Rs. 99 through Be10x. While I initially joined to assess the value for some peers and colleagues who inquired, my experience left much to be desired. The 3-hour session dedicated only about 20-25 minutes to Power BI, with another 15 minutes on AI integration. The rest of the time, Aditya Goenka aggressively promoted his other courses, including a lengthy sales pitch that lasted over an hour. To my surprise, he even went as far as to criticize other established educational platforms like upGrad , claiming they overcharge for their courses—despite the fact that many people I know have had positive experiences with them. Some red flags to consider: - Do you really want to invest in a course initially marked at Rs. 1,70,480, but “discounted” to Rs. 12,200 (a supposed 93% markdown)? - Is it ethical to support a company that resorts to bashing competitors just to sell its own products? - Is it acceptable to pay for a course and then be subjected to over 2 hours of aggressive upselling? In conclusion, I would advise extreme caution before engaging with Aditya Goenka and Be10x . The experience felt more like a #scam than a legitimate educational opportunity. To Aditya Goenka: I urge you to reconsider your approach. Please put your IIT Kharagpur degree to better use and stop misleading people in the name of education.
