Today's Learning ❤️ Most Important Interview Question ✌️✌️✌️ If your using Live Connection, then obviously you will have Report pbix and Dataset pbix different. ✅ So for example if you want to do any changes in measure then after changing you need to publish that file and then it will reflect in your report pbix file after manual refresh. ✅ So what if it doesn't show changes, then go in Power bi service, click on view semantic Model and check whether re pointing is done properly between Report & Data Set file ✅✅✅ #powerbi #powerbiservice #datamodelling #powerbideveloper #powerbijobs

I learnt how to add a theme from any PBIX file to the PBIX file I'm using right now. Here's the context: Recently, I was searching for a theme for one of my projects in Power BI and came across a really stunning, visually appealing theme. I really wanted to use that particular theme in my project. So, I went to my dear friend 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 for help. Listed below are the steps to be followed - 1. Open the Source PBIX File. 2. Save the Current Theme in "JSON" format. 3. Open the Target PBIX File 4. Apply the Theme by locating and selecting the previously saved JSON file. Having a backup is always a good idea. This includes not only a pbix file BUT ALSO a person who knows how the report was built. #powerbi #report #data

greetings #PowerBI world community - just want to let you know that 30 examples have been added to my blog + 12 new ones are coming soon, stay tuned. All of these have been done natively with just using the PBI Core Visuals of Power BI. you're free to download the pbix files but very important note: when looking closely at the files, you will notice a simple pattern: all the examples have been made with 4 or less DAX measures. Why? Because I opted for self-restrictive conditions in order to obtain inventive solutions. As they say: Less is More. With more constraints, better solutions are revealed. whenever I hear somebody criticizing the visual engine of Power BI, I remind myself the following: they may be right, but decisions makers are satisfied with the clear and simple fantastic 4 visualizations types: Bars, Lines, Pies and Waterfall charts. FABRIC NOTEBOOKS -> CREATE A POWER BI REPORT. 💡 Did you know that you can generate a report where is shown a quick summary of a dataframe and export it as a .pbix file? --> PBI_visualize = QuickVisualize(your_dataframe) <-- Select the columns that interest you the most on the right panel! Also, you can personalize any visual (type of chart, data selected).
